This is a little country store full of rustic nick-nacks and a restaurant in the back. The hamburger I had was cooked perfectly.

“Adorable, and right near scenic walk”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Just found this place, and can't wait to go back! Delicious homemade food, Richardson's ice cream, cute little indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a nice little gift shop to boot. And it's right across the street from an entrance to the beautiful rail trail, so you can grab a bite before or after a walk. The people that work there love the place and are cheerful and happy to be there, and that's always a good sign. It's such a great little out-of-the-way spot!

“What a gem! Do you want to step back in time?”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Before I start let me say this place has charm with a capital "C"! Then add excellent food, friendly, patient servers, now you have a GEM! They do a large take-out business, thus, do not be "put off" if the front parking lot is full. There is more parking in the back. Awesome variety of new and old choices for food. Bakery items...oh, yummmm! Something for everyone. But, this place stands out because it reminded me of days-gone-by in rural New England when the small town store served food and was the hub for gatherings of family and friends. When as people came in, they were greeted and talked to by others in the store. "Hi there, how are you doing?" and the "wow, haven't seen you in awhile!" were commonly heard as neighbors/family/friends came and went. New comers were welcomed with warm greetings. Owners and employees take pride in serving you with hospitality and great food! I was there with a dear friend, but, I will return with my hubby!

“Good for breakfast or a quick bite or ice cream after a trip on the rail trail”
Reviewed 7 January 2014 via mobile

Cute little town spot. They have good breakfasts, cozy little place where you can catch up with some towns people. Also a good resting point after a ride, run or walk on the the rail trail. They serve sandwiches as well as ice cream and ice cold drinks so its a great place to ho on a hot summer day as well. The Resturant is very small just a few tables but its fun to go check out all the signs and items they have for sale. You place your order at the counter then seat your self and they bring you your meal. Its nice they have bike racks out front so if you are coming from a trail ride you can park your bike and get a bite to eat or an ice cream treat. They also have a couple picnic tables out side as well so if the weather is nice you can sit out side and enjoy your treat
