My parents, sister, niece and her fiance, my daughter, husband and I booked all five bedrooms while attending a family wedding in Wolfeboro, NH. this past weekend. Cindy Schauer is a gracious and welcoming hostess. All of our rooms were very well appointed with large private baths. We adored the cottage/nautical decor and Ralph Lauren bedding. She baked creative breakfasts for us each morning as we lounged in the welcoming dining room. Her dog, Bogart, was an additional treat as he loved to great us each morning as we appeared for our delicious breakfast. We loved the privacy we all had, and the freedom to relax on the adorable cottage porch with summer florals, plants, and a water fountain. The BB is a short walk to the lake and downtown, no car is required. We are already planning a return visit during the holidays.
This BB is a gem and a must to visit at a great rate.

This is a really charming B&B in the picturesque town of Wolfesboro, NH. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. I'm surprised by some of the previous comments about the cleanliness as we didn't have that experience at all - the place was spotless. There is a very pretty outdoor area for relaxing. The breakfast was also very tasty. My only negative comment is the noise from traffic on the road outside - avoid rooms at the front of the house if possible.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms at the front of the house.

We stayed for one night on our driving tour of new hampshire. The price was reasonable under a $100. We had the hunt room, lots of stuff going on decor wise, clean and tidy. Has wifi and tea and coffee facilities downstairs. Slept so so a bit warm. Breakfast was french toast and bacon, No choice given I ate it even though I am not keen on french toast or the american excuse for bacon!
The lady who runs it is very nice and had a long chat with her. Would stay there again, just give me a choice for breakfast. The area is stunning.

We stayed here one night in October. We had the Hunt room which comprised of a bathroom ,small sitting area and bedroom,at the top of a narrow staircase.Liked leaving the car,it is a short walk to the centre, the room was spacious and private, but there was a door to another room, and we occasionally heard occupants.Drinks can be made in a small area at the bottom of the stairs, breakfast was adequate for us ,cereals, a freshly cooked egg dish, breads, jams. Didn't like the cleanliness in the bathroom, bath was rather old and I cleaned it before I got in as it didn't look clean, back of toilet seat and under soap dishes needed cleaning ,and my husband noticed dust behind bathroom door, and floor could have done with a hoover. However bed linen was nice and clean, but antique beds can be very noisy when you turn over, which I found annoying. Our room was at the rear of the building but sometimes we heard the traffic, didn't help that ac was in a window. We liked Wolfeboro, and at $100 dollars we didn't pay a fortune.I did wonder if the room cleaning was overlooked a liitle as it was upstairs. Our stay was okay ,but with more attention to cleaning could have been much nicer.

Room Tip: Stay at the rear of the building,it might be quieter.

This B&B looks the part, a charming Victorian house in a charming New Hampshire town, walking distance to the shops and restaurants...BUT find another place to stay.
The house is cluttered to overflowing with chattels the rather diffident owner has collected and they are all covered with dust and grime. We have never stayed anywhere so grubby.
We perched in our bedroom, defeated by the lack of space to put anything and by the overall feeling that nothing had been cleaned for a very long time. Especially the bathroom.
Despite the assurances of the owner, South Main Street was like a motorway from 5am.
The breakfast dimension of this B&B was laughable. There were four guests staying and there were 4 thin slices of melon and 2 or 3 Danish pastries (which we were assured came from the supermarket opposite) cut into pieces. One guest asked whether there was cooked breakfast available and when she was told no, asked for some toast. This was duly delivered, but in the most offhanded manner. None was offered to the others.
The owners were keen to tell us about themselves and you all know what that is like.
Wolfeboro does not offer many places to say, but I would certainly avoid this one.

Room Tip: Rooms toward the front of this B&B are incredibly noisy from very early in the morning. Not sur...

We stayed one night at this charming Bed and Breakfast during a driving tour of the New England states in May/June this year. Our room, the Coastal French Room, was spacious, very comfortable and exquisitely decorated. Located at the top-end of the main street, this B & B was a short and pleasant walk to the downtown area of this delightful resort town on Lake Winnipesaukee. Cindy, the innkeeper, was a most hospitable hostess and the continental breakfast served in the elegant dining room was delicious. It was a wonderful overnight stay and we wished we could have stayed longer.
