Don't be put off by the 3-star rating. What it does, it does very, very well, but this isn't a resort and there aren't a long list of resort amenities, instances to be impressed by the service provided by staff, etc. This was a one-night stay, and the hotel met expectations.
We attended a function close by, so were in need of a reasonably priced, clean hotel. Indigo has a clean, sleek, modern ambiance that I found to be very appealing. Check in was quick, but we were a little disappointed that breakfast (not even continental), was included in our stay. The front desk staff graciously offered us each a bottle of water, which was much appreciated.
Aside from seeing tile floors in tropical resort locations (a necessity with the climate), this is the first hotel I can recall ever staying at, that had wood floors rather than carpet... and I really dug it. The room was very spacious - large living area with leather couch and leather ottoman/coffee table, nice king bed, desk/dresser area, and an armchair. The pillows were too small for a king bed, and the TV was too small, too. TV remote didn't work, but we were in the room for such a short time, we were fine without watching.
Bathroom had a nice walk-in shower, with Aveda products for our use. Only bathroom issue was that the lights over the mirror were not over the sink, so for my bf, shaving in poor light was more challenging than it needed to be. Lighting wasn't great.
We will be attending other functions in the neighborhood, so will likely have opportunity in the future to stay at Indigo again.
