We have been coming to LBI for the past five years . Tonight was the first the first and the last time we will be eating here. I had the chowder and it was very good the rest of our meal was not! The seafood pot pie had raw puff pastry on top. The shrimp were frozen shrimp not fresh, there were no scallops, the crab meat was imitation. This is a town filled with wonderful fresh seafood , why didn't they use any? The sauce was suppose to be beschamel, a rich thick creamy sauce, it most definitely was not, My husband and granddaughter had past dishes. Even a beginner cook knows to salt the water before you cook pasta. Obviously their chef missed that class. The pasta had absolutely no taste and there was nothing that can be done after it's cooked. We advised our waitress of the problems she asked if I wanted something different. I didn't think another meal.would be any different so I refused. Upon leaving we informed the manager . I told.he she could see the raw puff pastry still on the table. The only thing she had to say was well he is a new chef maybe to New. I had high hopes.you g in and left sadly sadly disappointed.
