“Beautiful LBI Stay”
Reviewed 15 August 2013

This charming bed and breakfast is well worth the up charge from your typical LBI motel. The accomodations are truly well maintained with a good variety of bedrooms and worth the splurge. The backyard pool and loungers are very private with bicycles, beach towels, chairs and beach badges all included. Breakfast is a delicious and fun event as you sit on the large wrap-around porch making new friends or sitting quietly as you choose. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. I have been here before and look forward to returning again soon.

Look no further- The Victoria Guest House in Beach Haven is where you want to be. There are two houses, both immaculate and welcoming, from the decor to the landscaping. Both have wrap around front porches with clean, comfortable, cushioned wicker furnture. It's quiet and relaxing. We were welcomed to check in slightly early, and were met with the smells of fresh baked goods from the kitchen. The breakfast is amazing, all freshly made, from quiche to apple baked french toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, and all the regular staples, such as coffee & tea, cereal, toast and bagels. The hosts, John and Judy, are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to accomodate the guests. This is not to mention the use of bicycles, beach badges, beach chairs with cushioned headrests, and complimentary cold, bottled water. The pool is heated, clean and an extra added bonus. When we checked out, John was sure to tell us feel free to take advantage of their amenities for the rest of the day. Who does that? Victoria Guest House, that's who.

Stayed for two nights with my 13 year old daughter, and absolutely lived it. Beautiful location, buildings, gardens, and rooms; delicious breakfasts; very comfortable beds; great amenities (bikes, beach bags, beach towels, bottled water, nice beach chairs...); and nice, friendly hosts. We didn't even have a chance to use the pool, but it looks lovely. Would completely recommend, without hesitation

I wanted to like this place but I couldn't shake the idea that I have stayed in 5-star hotels in some of the priciest locations on the panel for was than I paid for a cramped room with dated decor on the Jersey Shore. The common areas and price were very nice but the mattress was small, old and tired. The sheets threadbare and bathroom so small that I could barely turn around. All that for only $325 per night.

Many thanks to Judy and John whom hosted much of our family and friends for my wedding the weekend of 6/30/13. From the water closet, to that amazing porch, to the great breakfasts, to offering and quickly completing some "emergency" laundry for me, they really pulled out all the stops for us and had every detail covered and then some. Would highly recommend and go back again in a heartbeat. Thanks again Judy and John!

We got the next-to-last room on a Friday afternoon - it was great! Pool, beach chairs, bicycles, breakfast, bottled water and the wonderful Jersey shore beach - all good, Everything was clean and well cared-for, no "icky" places or smells☺.

Our family's beach house was severely damaged in Hurricane Sandy, but I needed my LBI fix!! So I used the opportunity to try out one of those beautiful Victorian guest houses in downtown Beach Haven. Well boy am I glad I walked into Victoria Guest House.

The house itself is lovely; the rooms and the property are excellently maintained and the hosts are very friendly, interesteing, and helpful. The price may seem somewhat steep at first, but it really is "all included". There is cold, bottled water available all day and night, coffee and tea also. The breakfast ist really delicious and sometimes you'll find a little treat in the foyer: mini muffins, pieces of crumb cake, etc. It was worth every penny!

I LOVE the HUGE porch...perfect for sitting around chatting or for catching up on some e-mails (wifi is stable and fast). The guest house provided towels and high-quality chairs for the beach. Thanks for a wonderful stay...we will definitely be back!
