“THE BEST PIZZA!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2012

For the best pizza in the WORLD go to Alfred's Tomato Pie in Blackwood, NJ. It is ALWAYS worth the one hour drive from Phoenixville, PA.

“Great Pizza Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

I've been told about Alfred's so much, that I was excited to be able to finally eat there. Their pizzas are amazing and so good! You don't feel stuffed because they make their pizzas with a thin crust. It's also a BYOB, which keeps the cost down.

The restaurant is on the small side with a cozy feel to it. Cute accents throughout. Try it, you'll like it.

“Different from the commercialized pizza restaurants”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 February 2012

We have been coming to Alfreds for years, dating back to when Alfred owned it. The pizza is the same unusual style that made Alfred stand out. However, the new ownership has made some changes, all for the better. The salad is amazing. Like the pizza, it is different also. The pizza, is a very thin crust, sweet tomato suace, and just a sprinkling of cheese. You don't get that heavy feeling after you eat a slice. Even the "slice" is not your typical cut of pizza. They are square, rectangular, and other oddly shaped pieces. The toppings are fresh vegtables, clams, and the standard peperoni, mushrooms, etc. They even added desserts. All in all, it is worth the wait (usually a wait on the weekends), and the price. For those complaining about the higher than others pricing, maybe they are satisfied with Pizza Hut quality. This pizza is outstandingly better!!

“Good, but”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2011

Pizza was good. Different, maybe a little too much garlic (and I like garlic). Restaurant is small but nicely appointed in a tropical style. Was a bit pricey. $17 for a pepperoni (only 1 size available). Maybe that is what is the norm in the area.
