Enjoyed the stay. Very clean, easy access from main road and friendly staff. Although we didn'tt stay in one, they have jacuzzi rooms too. Also, the lobby/breakfast are are under an upgrade and we were told that they are in the final phase of completion.

Room Tip: Select a room with a king size bed, it's well worth it.

Stayed here in early January. This hotel is located just off the NJ Turnpike (exit 7) and is between a major road (rt 206) and a truckstop. The hotel is in great shape, and the area just off the lobby was in the final stages of an upgrade. Even though it is located in a busy spot, this had to be the quietest hotel ever. I had no outside noise, and one morning the alarm clock was going off in the next room, which I did not hear until I was i the hallway. The room was very clean and the bed / bedding were very comfortable. Check in and out was very efficient. The breakfast was good, though the eggs not so much.

This was your normal Hampton although it needed a little touch-up in the decorating. It was starting to look a bit worn. It doesn't have the new kind of desks they install that make such efficient use of space. This Hampton is not only on a busy road, it is at the intersection of another road which seems to be a magnet for semi-trucks that are parking for the night. Sound proofing in the rooms is pretty good but not excellent so earplugs were helpful to get a good night's sleep.

Room Tip: Try for a room at the back of the building will cut down on the noise.

Thank you for staying with us and sharing feedback on your experience. We are glad to have met your needs and will be sure to pass your comments on the noise from nearby transit along to our maintenance and facilities teams who are working on a solution to the problem and looking into additional soundproofing measures we may be able to take. Please also know that we will be looking into the new desk that you mentioned for possible use in the near future. We hope to have another opportunity to show you the quality room and stay you deserve the next time you visit the area.

Sincerely,

The folks at the front desk are really special and helpful, which is not always the case. Tim, in particular, is a pleasure. My room did not face the road, and was very quiet. The room was large and clean. The usual Hampton Inn breakfast and free wifi are appreciated. There is a pool and a cookie on checkin...

Really, while I would not plan a vacation here, it was a wonderful respite from a long hard drive. It is right off Exit 7 of the NJT (lots of construction at the exit if northbound) and was a reasonably inexpensive and comfortable stay. Free parking. If you want to go out to dinner, though, think ahead. The nearby options are only a Wendy's and a diner. You don't have a lot of food options around you.

Thanks to Tim for his assistance and to the rest of the staff for keeping it a clean and well-run Hampton Inn.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room away from the road.

We were looking for a Hotel that was close to Sesame, but nicer than the ones in that area. This was a great choice. Nice Hotel, it's clean, safe, Staff was nice, the beds are sooo comfortable. Breakfast was good. It's right next to the NJ turnpike so very convenient. I read some reviews on noise. We always travel with a box fan for white noise. Didn't hear a thing, so can't comment on that. AAA gives you a better rate.

This is a typically good Hampton Inn: clean, modern, good people, good service, good breakfasts and should be rated much higher -- EXCEPT the front of the hotel (the even numbered rooms?) face one of the noisiest intersections I have ever heard, and heard and heard! It's near an Interstate exit (before a pay section of the Turnpike, maybe?); anyway, there is a constant stream of semi trucks (not to mention an occasional motorcycle) approaching and turning left at a traffic light (Hwy 206) in front of the establishment, day and night -- besides regular, normal through traffic on the highway, itself. Downshifting, upshifting..., oh-boy! We were on the end nearest the intersection. Thank goodness for ear plugs and spare pillows....

Room Tip: Are odd numered rooms better????
