Re-renting again! Calm surroundings with wonderful view. Clean and comfortable. We are never disappointed.

We rent in Brigantine every year, and we look for a house that allows 3 big dogs. Not easy to find, so we rented this house without the dogs. it is a beautifully restored home on the bay, large and spacious inside, and a large deck with a dock on the bay side. The seat cushions need to be brought in every night to ensure they do not get a build up of moisture. There are several groupings of chairs on the deck, with two sun lounges, a table for four and and a lounging set of four rockers.
Neighbors are quiet and friendly. My husband took his kayak out on the bay every morning for a very peaceful and reflective time. The three bedrooms and 2.5 baths add to the spaciousness of this house.
It was a very easy house to keep clean while on vacation. We enjoyed Hoopers take-out for their wonderful fresh seafood. The large dining table was like serving a banquet. There is a ceiling fan in every room and living space, which added to the comfort of the house, with cool breezes.
Internet is provided, but I had limited access, meaning that more than one device trying to use the internet dropped you off the internet. i also tried to use my VPN and that was not consistently opened or sustained.
The owners generously let us use their beach umbrella and beach chairs. We drove on the 4X4 beach (with our beach sticker from Brigantine). It is well worth getting this pass especially if you have bad knees that cannot walk on sandy beaches. Or if you have brought your dogs to the beach on the north side. There are plenty of friendly dogs with their owners. One dog kept hiding under our SUV to get in the shade. So the owners joined us to keep a watch over their little one. There are more people fishing in that area but there is plenty of room to have empty space at the north end.
Even though checkout time on Saturday is 10AM, we didn't leave right away, and were able to spend a few hours on the beach before heading off home to Virginia.
It is pricier than any other rentals we have had, but it is well worth it if you have a large family or number of friends to share it, a love of small boats or kayaks that you bring with you, and want a nice and quiet relaxing time.

Waterfront ranch home w/3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths directly on St. George Bay canal (dock and boat slip). Property was extremely clean and well-organized and kitchen well-furnished with all of a cook's needs. Best features of the property were: HUGE waterfront deck (covered and uncovered combo); boat slip and dock; and, large gathering space inside. Although the bathrooms were a bit small, the 3 bedrooms were generous in size. Private parking area easily accommodated 4 cars.

Our family of 6 adults stayed 2 weeks and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Boating, crabbing, fishing is why we enjoy Brigantine and this property met all of our needs. Property location is very quiet and peaceful which was an added bonus.

The property owners' pride in their Brigantine house is apparent. Definitely a recommended house for vacationing families of all ages.

What a wonderful stay. My grandson's were thrilled with the dock and the ability to swim, crab and fish right in their own backyard. Home was spotless and well kept. More than enough room for the seven of us. Have already rebooked for next summer.
