extremely over priced. My boyfriend and I finished the whole aquarium in under 2 hours. For what we paid for admission, we would have rather spent the day at the Bronx Zoo. Or better yet, the Cape May Zoo, which runs off donations.

We had a great time at the adventure aquarium. They have lots of areas all dedicated to different sea creatures. The aquarium was clean, bright, and spacious. We've been to lots of aquariums and it was so neat to see hippos and a hammerhead shark. We loved the ray tank, the best part was they have a separate little section for children under a certain height. It was a respite from all the camp kids that were surrounding the ray tank. At one point we got the whole area to ourselves while the rest of the area was packed to the gills. It's nice so your little one doesn't have to get trampled. The shark tank was cool and it was good that there wasn't a moving escalator through it. You could take your time and walk through slowly. We also got a discount at the AAA office nearby which is open at 8:45. Outside there is a nice place to walk along the water. A nice place to spend the day.

The aquarium was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, but there was nothing to get excited about. The displays are limited... Lots of attention to sharks. The 4D movie was NOT worth the time or money. Watch Shark Week on Discovery Channel and save yourself the money.

Take a pocket full of money if you plan on visiting the Camden Aquarium! $18.95 plus tax for children...even 2 & 4 years old! $25.95 plus tax for adults. They don't allow you to use AAA at the gate either. Hippo tanks were cloudy & couldn't even see the animals. If you plan to eat here, take lots of money & make sure you leave enough loot in your pocket to pay the additional $10 to park on the way out! Seriously! Big rip off in our opinion!

I had come here many years ago as a small child when they first opened and it was so small back then. Now, however, it's pretty huge and quite impressive. Although it was expensive, after having gone through the entire thing I can see why. Their exhibits totally justify what you pay for. The only thing we didn't care much for was their "4 D show." The one we saw was "Sharks." It was a total let down. Good thing those tickets only cost $3/person because if it was more I would have wanted my money back. It's a shame that they didn't have a show that was more amazing since we went during Shark Week. On the good side, we loved their Hippo exhibit, Shark tunnel, lots of touch tanks, and the best Penguin exhibit I've been to. I've been to alot of zoos and aquariums, and their Penguin exhibit is definitely the best one I've seen. Its pretty clean and the Penguins look generally "happy." They also have ALOT of penguins so that was pretty cool. Overall, definitely a great place to go with your family, and one of the best attractions NJ has to offer.
