Tough one to review. On the one hand, my two girls had a great time and i am pleased the government put such an investment into an inner city area that needed it. The hippo exhibit was good and the shark tank and tunnel was awesome. But it is expensive. Two adults and two children under 6 cost 96 bucks in admission. We liked what there was but have been to larger aquariums that cost less, san diego seaworld for a start. On a friday afternoon the place was packed with families and it seems popular. I don't begrudge paying to help out a worthy project but left feeling a little taken by the cost.
If you are visiting from Philadelphia suggest you take the delaware river ferry from penns landing, its only 7 dollars return and is a nice way to cross the river and save on tolls and parking

The aquarium is a lovely visit. The town (or state) put some money in this area of Camden and it looks very nice. The aquarium is in a beautiful location and has a lot of tanks with a large variety of animals to look at. Favorites of many who attend are the hippos, penguins, shark tank, and petting tanks. It is very child friendly and full of families and children's groups any time of year. As an adult couple, I had a great time, but thought it was a little pricey for the experience. I would recommend going, it's the best aquarium in the South Jersey area.

I can't understand all the 'hype' that surrounds this place. It is marketed as a must see tourist designation when visiting Philadelphia. This is probably the most lack-luster aquarium I have ever visited. If you don't have anything to compare it to,then I guess you would consider it good. But if you have even one half way decent aquarium to compare, this aquarium is just 'sad'. It's very small, not much to see, and not worth going out of your way to visit.

We took our four year old and two young friends here on a Saturday. The ticket prices are expensive ($26/adults, $19/kids) and parking is $10 but the exhibits were pretty fantastic. It was broken up into 4 areas and you could spend as much or little time as you want in each. We didn't get to see the Hippo Haven because we ran out of time but the rest of what we saw was really interesting.

I liked how a lot of the exhibits were interactive and encouraged kids to touch. Petting a baby shark and sting-rays were of course highlights! It was also a very clean facility.

The place was absolutely packed and I will suggest that you buy tickets on line and avoid the wait to get in. They can scan right on your phone. You can also avoid the gift shop on your way out, which we, as parents, appreciated!

The 4D shark movie was less than I thought it would be. Our chairs didn't spray the water as advertised and the glasses were scratched after so many uses. The movie itself also wasn't that interesting. But it sure looked cool! We all jumped the first time the Great White barred his teeth in 3D! It was worth the $4.

I'd recommend going, especially on a weekday during school. I'd love to go back when the crowds aren't quite so overwhelming.

Three generations traveled to The Aquariam on a Sunday. We went in around 11:30AM and there were plenty of folks there but it is big enough that you don't get bogged down in lines. We had a 1 year old that seemed to enjoy every exhibit. She loved seeing the fish and a lot of fish interacted with the folks who were viewing them. It seems some of them must know what a camera can do because they came right to the glass for a close up. There are several interactive displays that tickled the 40 year olds who have been close up with sting rays in The Caymens. Plenty of benches for the seniors. It took us about two hours to get the overall picture. Much more time could be spent there but this was just enough for all of us. Don't forget to take your TD debit card for a $3 discount.
