The Staff at Miss Chris is very friendly and accomodating!
It's getting harder to entertain the kids as they grow older. So I tht a day on the water in a kayak might do the trick for a little family bonding! They loved it and we had the best day together! We can't wait to do it again!

Rented some kayaks from this company today. No problem with the service, very polite, professional and accommodating. We kayaked the marshes behind the marina at high tide and found them mildly interesting but nothing great. There's not a whole lot to see: grass, crabs, seagulls, some nesting osprey in the distance. An hour is plenty of time to see what there is to see.

We rented kayaks here this summer. You kayak down this creek behind Cape May which has no boat traffic at all. The kayaks were easy to paddle and the dock for launching them was simple. My mom just sat in the kayak on the dock and they slid it into the water. When we came back the kid pulled the kayak back on the dock. We had a good time. If its a hot day go in the morning, it got a little hot in the middle of the day.

I have been taking my family to the Miss Chris Marina for years. If you are looking for anything water sports oriented, the Miss Chris Marina is the #1 place to check out. They have Kayaking, Fishing Boats Daily, Whale and Dolphin Watching Daily, rental boats, crabbing, the Dancing Dolphin Gift Shop, the Miss Chris Tackle shop, etc.
My kids love asking the local naturalist, "Bobby" to tell them what is swimming around in the fish tank, full of local fish, or to see what kind of other live critters are swimming right around the dock. We enjoy going out for half day fishing trips as well as the awesome whale and dolphin watching and the great Dinner Cruises on the Spirit of Cape May.
The Miss Chris Marina is the best kept secret in Cape May. It is located only one block off of Route 109, but is seemingly impossible to find. But if you are like me, once you find it, you make the Miss Chris Marina part of your vacation schedule, year after year.
They also have charter boats, sightseeing tours, history tours, lighthouse cruises, striped bass fishing, bird watching. There are several affordable to not as affordable restaurants within walking distance and a ton of FREE parking. Either Bob or Jeff can book your next fishing charter or if you are looking for other types of water sports that they do not offer, they are more than helpful in pointing you in the right direction.

Went in for 3 hour Dolphin & Whale watching trip. They start slowly on the backwaters and reach fair speed once in the sea. On the way you could see some beautiful cottages built on the sides of backwaters and a rotating railway bridge, which serves both boats and trains....! We were not lucky enough to see whales during our trip but saw a lot of dolphins :-) They were beautiful a lifetime memory.
