“We Were Treated Like Royalty!”

We stayed at this wonderful B&B from Sunday, April 14th to Tuesday Aril 16th. We arrived later that we thought we would, around 4:30 p.m. The hostess greeted us warmly and told us that she had just put the wine & snacks out. Our room was spectacular, in the front of the building with a fireplace, a huge bathroom with a shower and a slipper tub. Just outside of our room was a beautiful sitting area that overlooks the ocean. The wine & cheese bar was just outside our door! We were able to have a glass of wine and sit out on the second floor balcony and watch the dolphins play. We walked down the beach for dinner at Martini Beach (another review). Breakfast is served on the veranda and selected from a menu. Our server was pleasant, funny, and delightful. ALL THIS OFF SEASON FOR $200 PER NIGHT!
On Monday night we had reservations for dinner in the dining room. Prior to dinner we enjoyed the wine & cheese bar again in "our living room". We were joined by a pleasant couple from Massachusetts. They mentioned that the restaurant allowed BYOB. We hadn't known this, so we weren't prepared with a bottle of wine. When we went down for dinner, the hostess asked if we had wine with us. When we told her we didn't she offered the wine list, BUT, she also offered which ever wine we would like from the wine & cheese bar! We were astounded but she said they always do that for the guests. Dinner was absolutely wonderful (yet another review). They provide everything you need to enjoy your stay at the beach, beach chairs, beach towels, bicycles and helmets, etc. You simply cannot ask for more beautiful surroundings or better service. We will go back next year!

Room Tip: Guestroom #1 is the most beautiful and spacious room in the Inn.

Where do I start? PSI was great starting from the time we drove toward it on Beach Ave. We were warmly welcomed, given a quick tour, and then headed to our room. It was much more than we expected! We stayed in Garden Room 9, which had a comfy-cozy-country feel, a gas fireplace, a full dresser and mirror, a tv, radio, seating area, closet with hangers, personal robes, clawfoot tub, and so much more! The bathroom was perfect and so were the towels! Nice and thick and plenty of them. We even had a basket full of fresh towels waiting for us one afternoon. Let's not forget the turndown service! After a nice evening out, we came back to fresh sheets and a couple chocolate treats. It was great! The wifi was handy to have, too! The staff was wonderful throughout our stay. We stayed 3 nights and chose the PSI Love You dinner one evening. We kept our casual attire on and headed downstairs and enjoyed the meal. A bit fancy, but you should expect that since it's one of the top-rated restaurants in town. Plus, it's Zagat-rated! Don't forget to ask for a latte. They have a coffee bar in one room where they will whip up what you desire. The daily breakfast made to order was probably my favorite part of PSI. It's much more than I have ever gotten at a B&B. You can choose from omelets, pancakes, eggs, english muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, juice, tea, coffee, and more. We never missed breakfast! PSI is only a few steps from the beach, but if you don't care too much for that, then you can either sit on the balcony and look from afar or take a beach cruiser bike on the promenade. The breakfast and bikes are complementary! You will have a very hard time finding all these amenities for the price and convenience. Others may have breakfast, but is it this great? Probably not! Think about what you would pay for renting a bike for a couple hours, then consider what you would pay for a nice omelet breakfast with fresh fruit, and the beach access... add it up and it will be more than staying here! Just go ahead and make your reservations! We went during the week in April so the beach scene was serene. Did I mention they also have beach chairs? I think I also forgot to talk up the daily wine and cheese. WOW! What else can they do!? Well... all-day coffee, fresh cookies, snacks, sodas, and water. All complementary!!! We love this place! Very impressed and will not hesitate to recommend it to you. We biked down the street several times, but we also chose to walk. You don't need a car. Leave it parked in their private parking lot. The lighthouse, the beach, the mall, etc. are all within walking distance. You can bike or drive if you choose. We definitely felt on vacation and loved the entire experience.

Room Tip: Garden Room 9 has a queen size bed with plenty of room to walk around. The other half gives you plen...

I booked this room in sleepy Cape May only to find out this hotel is also a booming night club. We ditched our kids at the inlaws and headed down to CM for a wedding at Congress Hall. We checked in at 2:30 PM only to find a wedding had just started in the Inns lobby/1st floor. In my opinion weddings don't fit here; its just too small. The front desk was literally acting as the DJ booth adn the small entry area that connects the front door to the stairs was the dance floor. It was soo awkard to be in the middle of a wedding- Thank God the father/daughter dance was underway. That's all fine.. maybe...the real party started around 3 PM when music and the DJs voice wer'e in our bed as if the door was open. My advice to the owner- if youre going to host a party/wedding absorbingteh whoel first level and filling three floors with noise then at least dont' subject the public to it . Require the wedding party to rent the rooms.

We stayed here the weekend of April 13 and had a wonderful visit. Room #1 was so comfortable - fireplace, ocean front, comfy bed and huge bath. We ate at the restaurant that night and the food was fantastic. The service both at the B&B and at the restaurant was wonderful - everyone was super friendly and accomodating. Our only suggestion would be to restrict access to the communal area outside of rooms 1 and 2 later in the evening. I am 7 months pregnant and was ready to go to bed by 11pm and there was still somewhat of a party going on outside of our room door. A bit frustrating, but could easily be addressed. We did not say anything as we did not want to create an issue, but something for the inn owners to consider moving forward. All in all, a great visit and we highly recommend.

Room Tip: Room #1 was fabulous!

My husband and I stayed here April 7-10th. This was our first B&B/Inn experience and we loved it! I can't even begin to say enough nice things about this place and the staff. It is an old mansion built in the 1920's I want to say....It has 9 guest rooms and a restaurant. We stayed in room 7. Each room is different in size and decor and had different features. Some have fireplaces, some have large bathrooms, one has a balcony. During the day they open the doors to the empty rooms so we had a chance to peak in at quite a few. The Inn provides breakfast between 8:30-10. It is on the sunporch and is fantastic. There is an assortment of fruit, muffins, yogurt and a menu to order off of. You can get a made to order omelet, pancakes, oatmeal, eggs. The food is very delicious and fresh. They provide bicycles to ride around on, beach chairs, etc. There is a nice sitting room on the 2nd floor where they serve happy hour. You don't want to miss this!! From 4:30-6:30 is wine, cheese and veggie tray. It is a nice chance to meet the other guests and unwind. They did a great job of keeping the wine flowing.... Happy hour was def a highlight. At night the staff leaves and you have a key to the side door to get in and out. We felt like we were staying in someone's house. (a very big house) You must eat dinner here at least once. The food is fantastic!!! Spring in Cape May was very nice..the weather turned out great and the town was very quiet. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! I am trying to think of anything else you may want to know....the bed was very soft, big fluffy comforter. The towels were also very soft. The room was super clean and at night when they turn down your bed they leave dove chocolates. Oh -yes, on the 3rd floor is a little room with free drinks...water, soda, coffee, tea and snacks. I thought that was very nice. I highly recommend staying here....

Room Tip: You can read on their website about the rooms before choosing one....

We celebrated my husbands birthday at this beautiful inn on Saturday evening. Reservations a definite must, especially in season! They gave us a nice table on the enclosed porch (much quieter than the large room which has a working fireplace) and there was a piano player there who played all show tunes! Would definitely go back. If you are a Steve Lamanna fan, you would love this piano player!

Because we had to wait to take a long, exotic honeymooon (due to my husband being a teacher), his parents reserved a room here for a long weekend after our wedding for a "mini honeymoon." We had such a fabulous time. The service is outstanding, the view is incredible, and overall it was such a relaxing trip, which is exactly what we needed after the wedding! The food is also exceptional (don't sleep through breakfast!). Also, the wine social every night - also a plus!
