“Lovely stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

We spent two nights for our "babymoon" in mid april in the la dame room. Very nice, loved the tub especially! It. There is a skylight in the room so if you are light sensitive keep that in mind. Service was top notch and jay and maryann were wonderful in every way, very accomodating. Wine and food were great and it was very relaxing! Enjoy!

What a lovely Inn we found following Trip Advisor reviews and suggestions? The Inn Keepers here truly love their job and their Inn. You genuinely feel it the moment you arrive at the Inn. Breakfast is fabulous, wine and appetizers allow you to get to know the other guests, we were so fortunate to have wonderful and fun other guests, there was a lot of interesting conversation and laughs. Jay has great suggestions for dinner, every suggestion was better than the previous. The room was lovely and spacious. The Inn is immaculate. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing weekend.

We recently stayed with Mary Ann and Jay for a weekend. We stayed in the La Dame room and loved all the amenities. Mary Ann and Jay truly know how to run a B&B and know how to make you feel at home and welcome. The rooms are very clean, the hosts very knowledgeable, and the food was excellent During the wine and appetizers, we really got to know each other and Jay was kind enough to fix a breakfast that my husband will be talking about for a while.
The location is great, it is close to everything. It was too cold for us to do any long walks as it was in January, but the building is central to all the attractions in Cape May.
We definitely got the feeling of family and will be dropping by for a visit this summer so our dtr can meet Mary Ann and Jay.
We would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast and hope to go back ourselves in the future.

What an amazing stay we had. This was our first time in a B&B, and it was the most wonderful experience. We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary, and we stayed in the Cote' Parc room. It was perfect because it was private and not in the main house. The room was very comfy and cozy with a fireplace. The furniture was a beautiful complete antique set that made you feel like you were sleeping in your grandmother's home. Maryanne and Jay made us feel very special. Our first night we were invited to the main living room to have wine and appetizers with Maryanne and Jay and the other guests. It was like chatting with family. They truly care about getting to know each guest. They were extremely helpful in suggesting restaurant's. Each place they recommended was just fabulous. We really enjoyed our meal at Tish's. We loved how the Inn was within walking distance to everything. Upon check in Maryanne made sure ask if we drink coffee tea decaf etc, and juice. She had everything ready for the morning. Jay's breakfasts are just simply amazing. Our last day we were the only couple staying so Jay and Maryanne sat and had breakfast with us. It was like talking with family. We loved getting to know all about them and their family. They loved listening to our stories. We will definitely love to return to Cape May and stay here again. We will be telling our friends and family all about Maryanne and Jay, and to make sure if they visit Cape May, to stay at The inn at the Park.

You've heard the phrase " It's the people that make a house a home '".Well - MaryAnn & Jay are those people and "Inn at the Park is that home.
When you decide to take some leisure time for yourself ( in Cape May ) and you will, call MaryAnn & Jay. From the moment you step thru their door,it's like meeting up with old friends.
From the breakfasts,to the rooms( stayed in The Margaux ), to the conversations, 5 o'clock wine and hors d'oeuvres( on the front porch ) or inside. What else is needed? A short 10min. walk to the Washington St Mall/Center and Atlantic Ocean/beach - perfect.
The one piece of luggage you might have brought with you " stress" will definitely be gone.
So - read the reviews, visit their website and give MaryAnn and Jay a call - you will not be disappointed.
Thanks again, MaryAnn and Jay for a great stay. If we find ourselves in your neck of the woods again, you will be the 1st we call. 5 stars all around. Happy Trails - Deb and Frank,CT.

We reserved the Saint Julien room for our stay. The room decor was very nice - great bathroom! Great host, very informative as to restaurants and local attractions. 4 blocks to the center of town/shopping. The beaches in Cape May were outstanding - very clean white sand. Enjoy your stay!

Just came back from this gem of a place with my lady Karen. Mary Ann and Jay are hands down the key ingredient which makes the place such a treasure. You feel like you're 'at home' with them the instant you meet them.

Inn at the Park is close enough to everything you could possibly want to experience; yet far enough from the busy thoroughfares to be pleasantly secluded from the bustle one might experience during 'high season'.

Your hosts aren't the smile painted, glad handing falsies you'll encounter at some of the local competitors in the area either. The Gorrick's are real people you somehow feel you've known all your life. I had the odd sense I was visiting family I hadn't seen in a long time.

Jay's breakfasts are exquisite; and I'm quite the aficionado in the kitchen if I do say so myself! Afternoon hors d'oeuvres were a personal favorite for me. There is a genuine warmth and kindness exuding from these people that you take with you into your evening's festivities that is in itself an hors d'oeuvre of sorts.

Karen and I highly recommend this establishment. You would be hard pressed to find a better value, or a better pair of hosts in all of Cape May!
