Beauclaire's Bed and Breakfast

Impeccably clean and well maintained charming Victorian Bed and Breakfast 75 yards from the beach, 2 blocks from the center of Cape May, with incredible breakfasts and parking on the grounds.....what's not to love?....it was awesome! But the best part of our stay was the incredible hospitality and kindness shown us by innkeepers Joe and Joanne ....they treated us like old time friends right from the start! We can't wait to return to see our friends real soon!

We felt very comfortable staying at Beauclaire's. Joe made such a great breakfast every morning and it was like family sitting and talking to everyone, including Joe. The beach was a 1/2 a block away and we were right in the middle of the town. We will definitely be there next year.

We stay here every year for our anniversary. Joe does an amazing job of making you feel at home. The breakfast is amazing. Great location between beach and shopping. Porch is perfect for relaxing on a rocking chair or swing. We love coming off the beach for afternoon lemonade and fresh baked cookies. The perfect summer getaway in a charming historic town.

Joe was a great host, very knowledgeable and welcoming. As many others have mentioned, he puts on a beautiful and filling breakfast. The B&B is close to everything, quiet and a down to earth, peaceful getaway. Thanks for everything. We would definitely stay again.

Beauclaires has a great location 1/2 block from the beach, close to restaurants, shopping areas and attractions. There is convenient parking on the premises, a lovely porch and the innkeeper gave us wonderful dining recommendations. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the other guests over a delicious breakfast.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the third floor room with ocean view and great sea breezes.

My sister and I decided at 8:00p.m that we would rather stay over night for our shore visit instead of driving all in one day. I spoke to Joe on the phone and he had one room opened just for the one night , we checked in at 11:00 p.m. I always stay at B&B's when I travel but this was my sister's first one. She was very happy with her visit. Even though check out time was 11 he let us park there all day and we were able to use the outdoor shower that actually had hot water . Joe made us both feel safe and welcomed. For a sister's over night the Tyler Room was just perfect for us. I would return to this one again. The swing on the porch is great and you can see the ocean from it. We had a yummy breakfast in the little breakfast nook for two instead of the family style dining room. My husband is a chef , so I get great meals all the time. He would have loved the breakfast ,I'll have to bring him along next time.

We decided to take a quick get away trip to Cape May. After checking out several B&Bs, we chose the Beauclaire primarily for it's very convenient location. We were not disappointed. We stayed in the suite and it was very nicely appointed, including a private bath with Jacuzzi tub/shower. Plenty of closet space, a sofa and a refrigerator were included. The host and hostess were wonderful and very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent.

One of the perks was, in fact, the location. Very close to the beach, the Washington Street mall shopping, excellent restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend and I hope to stay with them again in the future.
