“Lovely Lovely”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Our stay at the Albert Stevens Inn was lovely and all too short. Lenanne and Jim could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Jim knows all the ins and outs of Cape May, and Lenanne's baking is excellent. After our long day out, late afternoon snacks plus wine/sangria were a treat to come "home" to. The Inn itself is beautifully appointed, comfortable, and clean. It is located a few blocks from the center of town, and several blocks from the beach, which was fine by us. We brought our own bikes, and did a lot of bike-riding (although the AI provides bikes for guests, too), and even spotted a scarlet tanager and Baltimore oriole at the sanctuary by the lighthouse.

Everything was just great: location, service, clean and light room, breakfast rooms, porch, parking, free wine and cookies for afternoon rest.
Jimmy was helpful as well as his staff.
If I come back I’ll stay in here. Price worth it.

Room Tip: I stayed on the first floor. Easy access.

A great time was had by all when 4 of us had a family weekend at the Albert Stevens last weekend. The owner, Jimmy, was very kind and helpful to my elderly relations , the food was great and the rooms very comfortable. Very good place indeed.

My mother and I stayed here on the advice of a friend who had previously stayed. The B&B is beautiful, in perfect condition and immaculate. The owner Jim is extremely helpful and hospitable. The food is great. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit to the Albert Stevens Inn with the last visit being 4 years ago. We had a great visit the last time and this visit was just as good. We stayed in the Study, a large first floor room with a beautifully tiled large bathroom with double walk-in shower and radiant heating under the tiled floor. As many of the reviews have mentioned, our room was spotless, wonderfully decorated, comfortable, and contained evertything that you would need including internet, mini-fridge, flat screen TV, hair dryer, etc.
What makes your visit special are Jim and Lenanne's attentiveness to their guests and their needs. Still amazed that Jim addresses everyone by their first name and is truly interested in what your plans are and which restaturants you will be eating at. There are plenty of bikes available for use and free parking was readily availabe in front of the Inn or in their side lot.
I cannot see us staying anywhere else during future trips to Cape May.

Room Tip: The Study on the first floor is large, with a beautifully tiled bathroom and walk-in double shower.

I've already lost track of the times I have stayed there but the Albert Stevens is always my first choice when going to Cape May. My husband and I have never experienced anything short of exceptional service and hospitality of this beautiful B&B - and as everyone else has remarked, their breakfasts are fantastic! Jim is a wealth of knowledge and can direct you to the best restaurants and let you know everything that is going on in Cape May. It is Jim and Lenanne who make your stay so memorable!

I have recommended the Albert Stevens to many friends and family members and after staying there they all basically say the same response: "I can't wait to return."

I absolutely LOVED this B and B. Its so perfect i couldn't believe it :) Many reasons. Firstly, the photos are true, thats exactly what the rooms looked like. Secondly loved the hosts, Jim was lovely, very friendly, very well informed about the area and had a lot of practical suggestions. Thirdly the food was absolutely delicious, each course better than the last. I may consider going back just for the breakfast :). And oh, breakfast is served in both the common dining area and in their little covered porch where they have small tables which seat two people. And you are served breakfast by their staff, very thoughtful always changing out your plates for each course, making sure your coffee cup is full etc.
Parking is super convenient in their backyard. And they are very close to the main street, literally almost only two blocks away.
Thank you guys for a wonderful restful weekend and hope to be back soon sometime!

Room Tip: Room tip: We had the stevens, which is one of their smaller rooms, but more private. It was small bu...
