Wow, we loved this gem of a restaurant on our first nite in Cape May. It has a stately but subdued atmosphere, and the ambience just makes you want to slow down and savor your nite and food there. You will want to linger, trust me. The service was impeccable, with just the right amount of attention. I found this place through other trip advisors as it is a recent addition in Cape May, and I am so glad I did. They have a BYOB policy, so do not forget to bring your own wine. And go there, before it is so booked up.

My husband booked the Blue Rose for a two night stay for my birthday. We stayed in the Rose room. The room had plenty of space for the two of us and the bed was comfy. We never heard any noise from outside or from the restaurant. The location was very convenient to the beach and the Washingston St Mall. We parked our car upon arrival and didn't move it until we left. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We also had dinner in our first night (see review on restaurant side). We loved every bite we ate. We hope to be back again soon!

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Blue Rose Inn! This was our first visit, and so happy to find them as they werethe only B&B to have a 2 night minimum insted of a 3 night (sorry but some of us can't get away for 3 nights). Thank you Blue Rose! The entire staff made us feel like we were staying with family. Joan, Tom, Justin thank you so much! We stayed in the Ebony Room, I will say it is a small bedroom and the bathroom is small but the beautiful king sized bed added richness to the room and it was comfortable and cozy. Comfortable, bed, sheets and a super soft blanket which was perfect on these cool nights. Location is super close to Washington Inn Mall. Breakfast is served at private tables either on the porch or in the dining room. The Inn is open for Brunch on Sundays and so they offer their staying guests, the option to choose entrees off their Brunch menu. Try the chef's omelette, the french toast and the blueberry pancakes!! Fabulous. Also included is juice, coffee and or tea. Can't wait to go back! (see separate review for the Restaurant under the Restaurant section).

We're big time Cape May "fans" and decided to try the Blue Rose Inn for dinner one night. Our party was large, 10 people, and when making the reservation we indicated we'd like to sit outside. When we showed up, our table was ready, on the porch as requested. The porch is not closed in and there was a very bright ceiling fan light overhead. It was so bright that it literally blinded us. In addition, it also attracted a wide variety of insects, mostly large moths that would hit the light and then nosedive to the table. They were in our hair, wine glasses, on our menu etc. It got so bad we had to ask our waitress to turn the light off. Then we sat in the dark, trying to read our menus by candle light. Our server was stern and inattentive. We had to get up ourselves various times to pour more wine, open new bottles, get glasses etc. Those who did not drink wine went without beverage refills for ages. When our food finally came out, it was cold and the portions were small. The food itself was respectable, just not hot. We all ate three courses due to the small size of both appetizers and entrees. There were various times where some of us had no silverware, no glass to drink from, etc. Sugar was not brought out with the coffee...it just wasn't smooth. This place has potential, the food was definitely tasty, but when you're in the restaurant business, a smile goes a long way, and when you're in Cape May and there is a plethora of fine dining establishments, you need to bring your A game.

This summer I have spent 2 weekends at The Blue Rosé Inn & Restaurant and can't say enough about it !! Where to start... The rooms are comfortable, clean and very roomy. The location is close to the beach, Washington Mall and boardwalk promenade. The best thing about this Inn is by far the restaurant. The dinners are to die for with an eclectic menu. I have never tasted better scallops then I have eaten here!!! The breakfast options are fabulous (and complimentary if you stay at the Inn) with my favorite selection being the omelettes and homemade donuts. I plan on returning soon and am already thinking about what I will choose from the menu. See you soon Blue Rose!!!

This was our first stay at any B&B, but its one we are sure to make again. I was fortunate to find the Ivory Room available on such short notice. We checked in late and went to their restaurant for a late dinner. The food was excellent! Definitely recommend their sweet corn & crab soup and their Crab Cakes. The room was cozy and warm as any Victorian should. Justin took care of us for breakfast on both days and it was awesome! Recommend you try the donuts! All in all, we had a great stay. The staff was great and the owner Tom was friendly, however, Justin was outstanding in this efforts to help us out about where to go and what to see. I would rate this place higher, but the only major downside was the lack of parking availability, but hey! Nobody's perfect! They said its thier first year as a B&B rather than just a restaurant, and by our stay they'll do great. Thanks Again Justin!
