First, let me start off that the Pink Lady is a beautiful house in a gorgeous location; quiet and close to the beach and restaurants. The outside of the house, probably could have been cleaned up a little more, but otherwise a very nice place. Second, the unit was nice, however, the description that is given is a tad misleading, I wouldn’t say wrong, just a little distorted. Hopefully with this comment, it can be updated a little and be more informing for future guests. A few examples…..there are actually only 1.5 baths, not 2. (Or maybe more precise, 1.25 baths.) The second “bathroom” is a toilet in what I can only assume an old converted closet that has a nice window. And the sink for the “bathroom” is next to the bed. There are two bedrooms, but not two queen beds. The one with the “bathroom” had a queen, but the other had two single beds, or day beds. Everything in the unit is not new, but maybe it was fresh. The TV in the living room was probably 10 years old. Not a bad picture, but not new either, but maybe new bought. There were also two other TVs, one in the kitchen and one in the other bedroom, which could have been new, however they did not work with cable. Only one channel played on them and I’m assuming you can play a DVD, but we didn’t have one to play. So if you like to watch the news in the am or pm while cooking, turn the TV volume up in the living room to listen. The air condition controls were a little difficult to understand at first, but after a few calls to the realtor, it made sense. And we needed to go out and purchase a new iron because the one supplied didn’t work. It was a clean place, however I think it was cleaner the way we left it, even though we did get a word document that the cleaning crew had to charge us $15 to clean a bathroom. The kitchen was definitely new and we had no issues using any of the amenities. The unit can probably sleep 6, but you receive only 1 key. Not sure if that’s normal in Cape May, but it didn’t make for a relaxing time, having to remember who had a key and who might be getting locked out. We did receive a parking permit for the lot, which is what was stated. The storage on the main level was great and easy to access. I have stayed at many other condos at a beach resort, and most if not all, had a welcome kit in the unit. I would suggest to the owner and\or the realtor to supply one for future guests. It may help on the phone calls.
