We stayed in the Manor on the second floor with an ocean view. I believe this was one of their smaller rooms but the space was adequate for two people. We were impressed that they had a small refrigerator in the room. The room and common areas of the Manor were very clean and decorated in the classic Victorian style. Only 2 things kept me from giving my stay 5 stars: the queen size bed in our room and the bathroom. Although the bed was clean, it was a bit hard and squeaked a lot (with limited effort). The bathroom was clean and stocked well but had trace noticable amounts of mildew in the shower/tub. We did stay at the end of the season so some of these things may have been overlooked and the result of a long hard summer (particularly the loose bed :-). Typically B&Bs of this quality have higher quality towels. The towels they supplied are of the quality usually found in cheaper chain hotels and motels. The location to the beach and the views from the manor were impressive. The porch and the old wooden rocking chairs in front of the building were inviting. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would most likely stay here again if the price right of course.

Spent three nights at the Stockton Inn and was very pleased with the property. We received a friendly and courteous welcome at the front desk and were given complete and detailed information on the places we wished to visit. The location is great, right on Beach Avenue in the historic area and within reasonable walking distance a good selection of restaurants and the Washington Mall shopping area.

Our room was an efficiency unit and was well outfitted with a small cook top, refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, a full complement of dishes, pots & pans and cooking utensils. There were even coffee filters and dish washing detergent.
I would have liked to have a microwave but that is only a minor detraction. The room was very clean and house keeping did a very good job of meeting our needs and schedule. The property is well maintained and everything is kept clean and fresh.

There is a small pool, however we did not get to try it out due to weather conditions but it appeared to be well maintained and clean.

This is a great classic beach motel, not fancy but clean and well maintained with a helpful and friendly staff and close to everything including the beach. We would definitely stay here again.
