“The Inn and innkeepers Anna Marie & Doug are charming!”
Reviewed 3 June 2008

This lovngly restored Victorian "Lady" is the perfect place for a relaxing visit to Cape May. The Queen Victoria has retained all its charm from the delicious afternoon tea to the sumptuous breakfast. The porches around the Inn are perfect for chatting with some of the other guests or just rocking the afernoon away with a good book and a nice cuppa tea. The staff is very accomodating and innkeepers Anna Marie and Doug are wonderfully gracious hosts.

The Queen is perfectly situated between the ocean and the quaint Cape May Mall, easy walking distance to both. Bicycles are provided by the Inn and the town is very bike friendly. You can ride to the lighthouse, Wetlands Institute, Cape May Bird Observatory and other places of interest.

Restaurants are some of the best in New Jersey and most an easy walk from the Inn.

We highly recommend the Queen Victoria to all and plan to return often.

We just returned from a great 2-night stay at the Queen Victoria B&B (QV) for our honeymoon. We had been to Cape May before, but this was our first time at the QV and we couldn't have been more pleased. The QV is a beautiful old home that has been lovingly restored and updated. Anna Marie & Doug were perfect hosts, and their staff was extremely kind, prompt and helpful. The breakfasts were varied and there was always a large selection of items to sample (my fav was the banana nut muffins). The amenities provided at the QV (complimentary refreshments, beach towels and chairs, bikes) really made the stay enjoyable, and it was such fine service and attention to small details that will bring us back to the QV whenever we go back to Cape May.

My husband and I stayed at this inn for three nights for our 11th anniversary. It was the perfect, relaxing weekend. Close to everything, incredible breakfast, wonderful attention to detail, and VERY clean. Hearing the sound of the passing carriages added to the ambiance. The decor was antique, victorian, but not at all worn or shabby (sometimes what you get at B&Bs).

I would highly recommend this inn. We stayed in the Queen's Cottage, which we liked, because it offered additional privacy, including a private front porch.

Due to other commitments; we were only able to stay at this B&B for one evening on the Memorial Day weekend; we celebrated my wife's birthday. This B&B exemplifies what a B&B should be; they go the extra mile to insure that your stay is enjoyable, the breakfast was excellent; the room was beautiful, bed comfortable and the staff was extremely courteous.

In the past we have visited many of the B&B's in Cape May; in the future this will be the only one we will visit.

Thanks

A friend who had stayed there before raved about it so she thought it would be fun for us to celebrate our 60th birthdays together there without husbands. The staff was incredible, the ammenities were wonderful and the food was delicious! The decor was beautiful and we were all made to feel like a big family. I plan to definitely go back again, this time with my husband. It was a terrific experience!

For 22 years my wife and I have gone to Cape May. We have stayed at many places. This experience at the Queen Victoria was the best we ever had. The Inn Keepers were the best, and they made the stay a wonderful experience. I will suggest the Queen Victoria to anyone looking for a place in Cape May.

We loved the room, very spacious and perfectly decorated with a gorgeous fireplace, and spa tub! We also had an entire wrap around porch to ourselves. The food served was amazing for breakfast and afternoon tea! We were also close to everything we wanted to do-sooo relaxing!
