Wow, we are very honored to be your "Most Favorite Place". I don't think it gets any better than that! High praise, indeed. It was truly a pleasure seeing you both again this year. Thanks so much for making us your fall tradition. I'm glad you feel special when you're at The Queen Victoria. You most certainly are!

Thanks again,

Doug

We stay at The Queen Victoria every year for our annual trip to the Jersey Shore and would never stay anywhere else! The buildings & rooms are decorated beautifully, the service is outstanding, and the extra amenities (bikes, beach chairs & towels, soda, coffee & tea, etc.) are well above-average compared with other B&Bs/hotels. This year, we stayed in the “Princess Victoria” room that had a very nice private balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and our room was spacious. The breakfast was outstanding each day with amazing coffee served. In the afternoon, we had iced tea and very tasty “savories” that we looked forward to every day on the porch. The staff has always been very friendly and very diligent in their house-keeping & landscaping duties. The facilities (there are several different buildings) are kept impeccably clean and well-maintained. We have stayed in various rooms of The Queen Victoria for the last six years and have always been extremely well-pleased with our stay.

Thanks so much for this wonderful review Jennifer. I'm glad that you enjoy everything so much at The Queen Victoria. It sounds like you're definitely taking advantage of all our extras and amenities, which is what we want all of our guests to do. It is always such a pleasure to see you and Mark. Thank you so much for making The Queen Victoria your home in Cape May! See you next year (maybe you'll choose the Queen's Cottage, which is the only building you haven't stayed in yet).

Had a long wonderful Labor Day Weekend at the Queen Victoria with my wonderful husband. This time we did not stay in our usual spot at the Regents Park. We stayed in the House of Royals in the Empress. Now it will be a hard choice between the two. Both are so good. The bed in the Empress was one of the most comfortable beds we ever slept in. Have to find out from Doug who made the mattress. The room was very nicely decorated. Also great TV that you can see from the bed. The Kuerig coffe maker was a great addition. The only thing is the room is right by the street so you can sometimes hear people walking by. But that should not stop you from staying in this room. The staff for the most part was good. We ate breakfast at the House of Royals and did not go over to Albert Hall. It was so comfortable sitting and having breakfast on the little porch they have. Monica was wonderful and very on top of things. She was off Sunday and Monday and those filling in seemed a little unsure of themselves. The cleanliness is exceptional. and the turn fown is so nice. It is the only place we stay in Cape May for years and have no desire to go elsewhere. This is one place that you just can't go wrong. Hail to the Queen!!!

Room Tip: Any and every room is good.

Hi Linda. I'm so glad that you both enjoyed your visit with us again this year. I'm glad that your stay in the Empress suite was enjoyable for you. It really is a beautiful room. I'm also glad you enjoyed your breakfasts in the House of Royals dining room. That front porch really is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast on a sunny morning. I'm glad that Monica took good care of you. I'm sorry that her back-up servers weren't as good as she was. She is a hard act to follow. Thanks again for your continued patronage. I hope we'll have the pleasure of your company again next year!

We stayed in the Queen victoria room, huge, ornate and comfy. It's on the first floor front, but private and not noisy. This room has a very large walk in shower - a delight! Breakfast and tea are served at building next door. Breakfast In garden is very pleasant, as is afternoon tea. Very helpful innkeepers and staff. Great location. Only negative is no on site parking, although there is a church parking lot next door available for $10 daily.

We stayed in the Empress Suite. The room was amazing with a beautiful bed and bath. Having the use of a Keurig coffee machine was a plus and very convenient. Also having the use of their bikes, beach chairs and beach towels made the trip even more relaxing. On top of all that the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful especially Monica. Being only one block from the beach and in the middle of town made walking every where very easy. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Thanks for the great review Tony. What a wonderful compliment in your review title! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us so much. The Empress is our newest room, which we were able to design from the ground up, including every single amenity we could think of in it. You'll have to come back in cooler weather so you can enjoy the fireplace. Thanks, too, for your comments about staff. Monica is one of our newer employees and she really is a treasure. I hope we'll get to see you again soon.

Thanks for the very nice review Dave. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to The Queen Victoria. The Princess Beatrice is our smallest, least expensive room, but I must say I've always liked it. It is one of the few rooms at The Queen Victoria that has a view of the beach. I'm really glad that you enjoyed our breakfasts and liked the bicycles. I'm also pleased that our staff was friendly and accommodating to you. We're fortunate to have some really wonderful people working for us.

I hope we'll get to see you again soon!

We stayed at the Queen Victoria last year and came back. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the street. The room was very clean and the staff adds a lot of personal touches for returning guests. Everyone was very accommodating and we love the breakfast in the morning. Looking forward to returning for another visit, maybe we will try it at Christmas instead of the summer this time.

Thanks so much for taking the time to post this review. Thank you even more for making a return visit to The Queen Victoria. I'm very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at The Queen Victoria. I'm also glad that you appreciated the little extras we do for returning guests. We LOVE returning guests, and we're fortunate to have a lot of them.

Christmas really is a great time to experience Cape May in a whole different light. It is a magical place during Christmas ... you'll feel like you stepped into a Dicken's Christmas Village. Hope to see you then!
