We stayed for 4 days - which is one day too long for Cape May. This review is about the hotel, so I'll stick to that.
The location is great.
It's a very expensive hotel, and they don't give you beach passes.
It's a very expensive hotel, and they charge you for bottled water in your room.
It's a very expensive hotel, and the cleaning staff doesn't really clean. I left something under my pillow because I thought they weren't cleaning, and guess what? It was still there after maid service. Our family started putting small things under everything we could under the room, as a sort of game to see which thing the maid service would find - and guess what? After 4 days, the things remained. I bet they're still there too....
It's a very expensive hotel, and it doesn't include breakfast, not even coffee.
It's a very expensive hotel, and they charge you for every single thing, like when your kid wants to paint a sea shell for example.
It's a very expensive hotel, but you can't take your kids into the "brown room" to see the live entertainment.
It's a very expensive hotel, and they'll make sure to charge you for yoga on the beach.
I've stayed in many hotels, and I've never been nickel-and-dimed like this...
Oh! Before I forget: If you eat at the Blind Pig, the hotels restaurant, order EVERYTHING once the waiter arrives, order all your food, all your drinks and refills, because you won't see him again for a very long time.
