This is a pleasant surprise. You definitely get your money's worth and can spend a half-day or more here. There are some creative walks and exhibits, indoors and out--a good cloudy day getaway or change of pace.

A real gem of cape May county. Also, a great alternative option to the beach for anyone down on vacation.

If your a kid or just an animal lover you must see this zoo. There are lots of animals and they are well kept. The only downside was the snow leopards and giraffes were not available for display. Outside the zoo there's a park with swings for kids. Definite must see. There's no fee but they rely on donations to fund the zoo, worth contributing too.

I've heard from many people over the years how nice this little zoo is. They were right. The associates are friendly and facilities well maintained. They do not charge admission, so if you go, please be sure to give a nice donation to help keep it going.

Okay, its the only one (unless you consider Wildwood a Zoo). Seriously, this is a free zoo. It rivals many of the big city zoos that I have been to and it... did I mention... FREE. Many upgrades in recent years and the zoo sits in a beautiful park and recreation center. Worth the trip on those "sort of not so great beach days".
