Visiting a cousin who was giving her mother a 100th birthday party-we were staying in Carteret and wanted a late night supper-stopped at a cute little place near the hotel and had such good food! Chorizo sausage grilled for a taste treat of an appetizer--was followed by a nice salad and a huge pot of paella with a small whole delicious lobster on top-filled with shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, chicken, scallops in saffron rice with peas and sweet red peppers--I ate till I could pop then we took the rest home. The next day we took the container out of the fridge in the room and had a shared paella breakfast for 2 which still left us with a few cups of saffron rice!!
My husband had delicious rack of lamb which he enjoyed --he did say he was surprised at the presentation as it was more like 2 big lamb chops than the rack of lamb he is used to--but it was very good as was the sauce. Prices are very reasonable and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. I hope we get to go again.
