We were hesitant to dine at Clinton House because of some reviews but thank goodness we gave it a try while visiting the Red Barn Haunted House across the street. Because of the proximity to Halloween the servers were in costume which made the whole evening so much more fun. The crab cakes, its true, are some of the best we've ever had and the chilean sea bass was ever so delicate and delicious a top a bed of creamy risotto that not a grain was left on the plate. The ribeye was juicy and made to perfection and service was attentive and quick. Will definitely be back to try the Wellington.

We took a couples night out with our friends from Florida. It was a Monday night and some other restaurants weren't open, so we went with Clinton House since it is always an excellent choice. Seafood and steaks were delicious and the country atmosphere was typically comforting. Our waitress surprisingly didn't suggest an appetizer when we inquired about what she would suggest, so we did without. We enjoyed our meals and they were pretty filling which meant we really didn't need an appetizer and we also were too full for desert. I was surprised that the place was actually pretty full for a Monday night and it is always nice to have some activity in a restaurant to make it feel lively.

I've been to the Clinton House several times. The wait staff is friendly, helpful and prompt. Love both the bar and restaurant. Planning on going again for a dinner date close to Christmas. The atmosphere is very good and I know their Christmas decorations will be beautiful.

Went for christmas function and had the crab cakes which are out of this world. Others had seafood alforno casserole, steaks and pasta. Everything was wonderful. Expensive but well worth it for the portions and taste.

A grand old historic site, warm, cozy, old beamed ceilings, perfect cocktails, and a delectable
cuisine ! Old succulent German classics; Sauerbraten, and Weiner Schnitzel perfectly executed
and served. The menu contains many other Time-tested classics in a perfect, ageless setting.
