Our stay at Riverside Victorian Bed & Breakfast was wonderful. We had never done a bed & breakfast before and since it was our anniversary we thought it would be nice. The front door was a big double door with a huge round bell to announce our arrival. We were warmly greeted and invited into a beautifully decorated home. We were shown to our room with beautiful Victorian furniture, complete with private bath, with everything provided along with a bathrobe. There are six rooms with each a different theme that we saw online. I loved this one.
At 4:30 came snack time with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, etc in all varieties in a basket along with candy, cookies. We were looking for a place to eat that night and she suggested the Clinton Inn in town. She not only checked by phone to see if any seating was available....she made reservations for us.
The next morning we walked down to breakfast and the minute we opened the door to the hall the aroma of bacon filled the hall. She had pastries, doughnuts, kaiser rolls, toast, Jams, fruit, eggs made to order, bacon , homemade bread , waffles, pancakes. She made you anything you wanted. She sat with you and told you the history of the house. She made our stay very special. I highly recommend the Riverside Victorian Bed & Breakfast. A thumbs up.
