“Route 46 is our 66”
Review of Log Cabin Inn

If you're hungry on I-80 headed toward Delaware Water Gap, and it happens to be Friday, Saturday or Sunday night (food only on weekends), exit at Columbia (last before bridge to PA) and take route on 46 about a mile to the Log Cabin Inn. If you're lucky there will be a folksinger at the bar, and not too long a wait for a table. Pizza is the thing here--big, inexpensive, delicious. Lots of other choices but most locals come here for pizza and beer. About ten miles further east (Butzville) you can get off your butz and sample hot dogs, birch beer, and buttermilk at Hot Dog Johnny's. Just look for all the Harleys parked out front. The famous LA to Chicago Route 66 is now celebrated in fake 50's diners. New Jersey 46 is the real deal.

I visited the Log Cabin Inn this past Saturday. We went for the advertised pizza, steamers, and beer specials. Well it turn out that they did not honor the special prices. I have been there before and never had a problem, and the table next to us didn't have a problem getting them either. Our bill came and everything was full price. We mentioned it to out server and they did take the pizza price off, she said you only get specials at the bar (why did she tell us the specials then) Our bill came to $44 and some change if we were charged correctly it would have been $26 and some change. Thank you never again...By the way its not good anyways. The steames came out in minutes (only one person ordered them)our beer took about 20 min the pizza took 50 min Great service..The place was almost empty and still crappy service.

The Log Cabin is a comfortable cozy place where everyone feels like family. The fireplace is always lit in the winter and in nicer weather there are outdoor areas to relax, eat and visit with friends. It is so refreshing to go into a restaurant that hasn't had all the character remodeled away.
The Cabin pizza is the best around and is truly addicting and there are many specials and other choices from burgers to sandwiches and salads. Everything seems to be supersized at the cabin. The staff is friendly and helpful and the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

We drive by this a few time per year. I have always noticed that the parking lot is filled. Many motorcycles in the summer and lots of cars in the winter. On a recent trip to PA going up 46 it was snowing. Hardly any vehicles on the road, most places a only had a few patrons. I thought of this place that always has the full parking lot when we pass. When we got there the parking lot was full. The aroma when we entered was that of a great tavern pizza. We looked around at other meals. There was a woman eating a very large cheese steak. There was a a group having the pizza. There was a group with large wings. We had the nachos which were so large we could not finish. We had a burger which was very good. We had an order of wings which were meaty but a bit drenched in BBQ sauce. When we told family members about it that have been there said the pizza cannot be beat. It is the best they say. Next time for us. The place is really old, crooked as a dog hind leg, but something wants to bring you back. Not bad at all.

Good shrimp jammers, so-so muscles, yummy pizza!
Interesting atmosphere - great biker bar!
Along the Delaware river.
Just the two of us out for a drive and hungry, we had a good time.
We laughed over the slanted floors and dusty nicknacks.
Very casual.
