Description: Namaskaar, a small Indian restaurant in Englewood opened in late January 2008. The old place on Route 4 in Paramus, which has operated since 1991, was bigger. The new dining spot is more casual and comfortable with an informal atmosphere and minimal but festive decoration. As of April 15 the restaurant has outdoor seating. The food is served on metallic plates imported from India. The Indian cooking here is a notch above the competition. Our chef who worked in the best restaurants in India makes sure to serve the finest Indian food, emphasizes the balance of each ingredient’s flavor, texture and seasoning. So whether it's an intimate gathering or a party for the whole neighborhood, check out our menu to bring the distinctive flavors of a Namaskaar's meal to your next event.

“Good Indian for US”
Reviewed 29 April 2013

Coming from England where curry is king I have been spending a lot of time to find a good indian restaurant, luckily its here, right on my door step! Granted I have only tried 2 things in the 10 times I have been here but they are great. Chicken Curry (ask for it very very very hot) and also the Chicken tikka kebab

“Good to have Indian food”
Reviewed 31 August 2012

Well being in Indian my expectations were higher but food is kind of good. Dal Makhni was nice evrn though Rice was a let down. Small restaurant with avg. ambiance.

Will suggest the hotel owners to improve the service though.

“Not very impressed”
Reviewed 4 November 2011

Being an Indian, I searched for the Indian restaurant closest to the hotel i was staying, and found Namaskar. I came here for a few lunch buffets... but the food was blant. The cost is ok, but the quality was not up to the expectation. Mostly same menu every day which gets kind of boring.

The Ala Carte menu is average
