I booked this establishment as my 'preferred hotel' for my wedding guests when I got married in nearby Washington Crossing. I chose the hotel based on it's size, value, appearance, "free" shuttle (more on that later) and also for its bar/lounge in the lobby which was very conducive to large groups. The lounge worked out great, a big open space for my guests to mingle when they returned from the wedding- the bartender served till 2am and let people linger for many more hours thereafter.
But if you too, are planning to book this hotel for your wedding guests, or any event- just be prepared for headaches. The sales manager who worked on my account was impossible to get a hold of to answer questions whether it be via phone or email- I had to keep calling over and over hoping she would be there when I called. Alot of my guests also complained about being refused the group rate and I had to call the hotel myself to secure their rates for them. Plus, they sprung a few last-minute surprises on me such as refusing to shuttle guests to my ceremony unless I paid $300. And on the night of my wedding, the staff refused to put a cot in my mother's room (claimed fire hazard) despite my having been assured that this would be no problem, weeks prior. After an argument with the front desk in my wedding dress at 2 am, they finally agreed to send a cot up!
So that is my experience, though I dealt with the hotel more intimately than most people ordinarily would. I'm sure they'd be perfectly fine for a simple stay.
