“Good place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

I was just there on May 18th for a family luncheon. Food was good, service was good and they understood my families keen sense of humor! Prices were also good.

“Sad Ending to a Lovely Sunday”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

Villa Rosa was the restaurant my family chose for a relaxing dinner on a lovely Sunday afternoon,. We had dined at Villa Rosa most Fridays, as my daughters were growing up in Ewing. We had not eaten there in 2 years.
Lucky for us, we were the second table in the dining room. As other folks arrived, we placed our order, as 2 young children were hungry and we wanted our order in the kitchen ahead of others. Our 4 adult meals arrived, but no pizza for the little ones. Our meals were finished, and still no pizza. Kids were now very hungry and very restless. As the bus boy was cleaning our table, the pizza arrived! By now, the adults were restless, and the restaurant had emptied. Those who arrived after us, left before us. The food at Villa Rosa was fair. The fish was smelly and fishy tasting
and was returned to chef. Pizza was fair with little flavor. Such a disappointing ending to a lovely Sunday....

“Wonderful food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

We were in the area and stopped I. For a quick dinner, no waiting, live music and nice service. The table clothed dinning room added a nice feeling without being too stuffy. We were pleased with the portion size and price point of the entrees .

“Definitely not the best”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2013

Maybe Sunday night isn't the best time to go to this restaurant but we were very disappointed in our dinner. The lentil soup was bland. The veal rollatini was very tough and couldn't be cut with a regular knife as my husband found out when it went flying on the table. Salmon was ok but not the best I've ever had. Spinach was long, "stringy" and bland. On a positive side, the waitress was delightful, service was good and the atmosphere is nice.
