We had a great stay with clean rooms and good breakfast. We love the indoor pool and gym. Easy access to major roads and close to Target for all your extra needs. The lounge is intimate and the restaurant has has good food but not good services.

I (as well as several other in my wedding party) stayed at the Best Western Plus this weekend. While I can't speak for others, I can say for myself that the hotel was very accommodating to our party, whether it dealt with room changes, coordinating our rehearsal dinner, or providing shuttle rides to the site of the wedding at the Bethwood. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the staff are very cordial and willing to assist you.

I will mention something I didn't care for: the bathrooms do not have a fan, so be prepared for your bathroom to fog up quicker than usual should you need to shave or use the mirror for whatever reason.

If you intend on booking a wedding in the area and are looking for a hotel to book rooms at, the Best Western Plus is a great choice.

Very comfortable beds, firm. The room was very clean but dimly lit. The air conditioning could use an upgrade. TV was a 32 inch flat screen but hard to see while laying in bed because of the low furniture that it was on. Very good complimentary breakfast with cooked to order omelets. Pricey drinks at the lounge but they have a wide variety of liquors.

we stayed one night in the jacuzzi suite and it was worth every penny. the room was huge and very clean. the manager catered to out every need even though he was super busy with wedding guest. the only issue I had with the room is the latch on the door was broken and the skidding door latch was broken as well so you could lock it. the jacuzzi was big enough for two people and the food at calamdras was very good.

Comparing this to other value hotels I've stayed at, there seems to be some room for improvement. At this price point people are generally expecting only a clean, safe room, with basic amenities that function and work. So that being said here is how my recent experience compared to that.

First the good; Check in was quick and efficient, the staff was generally pleasant and helpful. The bed, was comfortable enough and the smell and appearance of the room was okay. It was also large and spacious considering the price of the room. Water pressure in the shower was good. The carpet was dingy and needs to be replaced but that aside, we couldn't find much else upon checking in to complain about. Unfortunately though we started to notice some issues.

This is a big spot for nearby wedding venues and so that being said you are going to get some rowdy crowds. I am usually the last person to stop people from having a good time but at 3AM we were woken up by screaming and people running up and down the hall, slamming doors etc. Okay like I said, people coming back from a wedding and having fun but we called the desk and told them to please send someone up to tell them to either take it elsewhere/downstairs or to at least just stop slamming the doors and banging the wall. Had to call 3 times. The second time the person at the desk said " well before we go up, we want to make sure it's the right room- so thats why we haven't gone yet" (I had already told them the room number next to us) The third time I said, when I called, "Do I need to call the state police and have them come here?"-shortly thereafter the noise stopped so someone finally had the motivation to actually go up to the room and tell them to knock it off.

Next, the air conditioning unit made strange noises and was working inconsistently. Ultimately it began to drip onto the carpet below. It got really bad late at night and we were too tired to deal with it so we just opened the window and fortunately it was cool enough outside to tolerate sleeping without AC. We told people in the morning the next day and they said okay we'll look at it later like it was no big deal.

Wi-fi is free but it's terrible. No speed, low connectivity and basically it's useless. The TV also did not work upon arrival and we realized it was because of a loose wall outlet-after switching the plug to a different socket we had no issues, but clearly lack of care.

Location was on a secondary highway which although wasn't scenic, it had easy access to some local shopping, starbucks, the major highways etc so that was good. Shuttles to and from wedding venues etc also very helpful. The breakfast in the morning was certainly satisfactory considering it was included. Decent coffee, breads/pastries and an omelet station with fresh eggs. Restaurant next door is extremely mediocre -don't bother-take a trip "off campus" for dinner.

If there was a courtyard Marriot nearby this place would get slaughtered. At the end of the day for what you pay I wasn't expecting much, but this experience was underwhelming. Many of these things are very fixable as well with some modest capital investment.

Stayed here for a friends wedding. I was booked for two nights, but ended up staying only one.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel shuttle is a godsend as they are happy to take you anywhere within a 5/8km radius. But the hotel itself is on the highway, with a view of a warehouse. It feels like the middle of nowhere. The floors in my room had a sticky substance on them, I suspect its been a few decades since the carpets were properly cleaned. Breakfast is basic, although they did have an omelet station.
It's the kind of place to stay at when you have limited options.

Haven't stayed in a Best Western in a couple of decades, but this one is a game-changer. Renovated not too long ago. Nice rooms with zero issues. Free wi-fi everywhere. Good prices. Extensive free breakfast with made-to-order omelets. Plus a superb Italian restaurant on the premises. If you're in northern NJ, this is the place.
