My fiance and I stayed at Main Street for Easter weekend - and how wonderful it was! Not only is the house comfortable and peaceful, but out of all the bed and breakfasts owners we've ever met, Donna and Ken easily top them all!! Not to mention their big, gorgeous dog Quincy!

Breakfast was amazing, starting off with fresh fruit and yogurt each morning (which my fiance devoured both days- seven years together and I've never seen him eat yogurt!!). Pancakes one day and a frittata the next- it was just delicious. I should also mention the treats that were always available. Peanut butter cookies, and a strawberry cake (which I almost didn't get to taste- but then Donna packed me a piece to take home!!)

It rained most of the weekend, so we didn't get to take advantage of walking to the outlets or the restaurants which are truly just steps away.

Overall, so relaxing and wonderful. Even though we don't live very far, we want to make it an annual trip so that we can sample some of the other restaurants nearby.

Thanks Donna, Ken & Quincy- we'll see you next year!!

Finally, finally, finally I was able to take advantage of a gift certificate given to me by my parents and stay at the Main Street Manor. From the charming Victorian exterior, the exquisitely decorated interior, the delicious soul-soothing breakfast, the luxuriously cozy bedrooms, and the friendly and charming hosts....the experience was second-to-none. Oh, and a warm wag and a lick from the manor's canine resident, Quincy, is just the icing on the cake. Will *definitely* be returning for a second stay!

We, my wife and me, selected the Main Street Manor B&B for one night because it's very close to my NJ office and therefore it saves us time.

Normally staying at Westin/W/Sheraton we've staid at B%Bs before so we knew what to expect.

Main Street Manor is a very cosy place with extremely friendly hosts (incl. dog). The place gives you a feeling of being "at home". It's lovely to sit near the fireplace or having breakfast in the breakfast room. Since we've been the only guests it had a very personal touch and we liked it a lot. The freshly cooked food (breakfast) had been very good, much better than this "kept-warm" food at bigger hotels.

Why no 5 point rating as many others gave? We did have the "Forgwet-Me-Not" room which has been a little bit small for 2 persons with a lot of luggage. Further I didn't like the hole in the bedsheet (small!), the window didn't stay open without puting my book inside and the bathroom (without window to the outside) had no ventilation. Yes, this are small things - but it makes the difference between 4 and 5 points.

Also, for my taste, the price for the room (not for the personal service) has been a little bit high. I paid US$ 188,00 for one night, including breakfast. At the same time the Westin (Morristown, approx. 40 miles away) offers rates at US$ 99,00 plus tax.

Anyway, location, personal service, great breakfast and a lovely dog made it a very nice experience, for sure the best you can have in and around Flemington (including good tips where to go for dinner and lunch).

So: we'll come again!

This is the perfect location for that weekend getaway. The hosts are most gracious, the food is exquisite, the decor is tasteful and welcoming and the cleanliness of the common areas and private bedrooms outstanding.

This B& B exceeded our expetations. We stayed there in the cold and had a great time, can't wait to try it again in the spring/summer. From the evening drinks to the great breakfast, from the feather top beds, to the friendly dog that we had to ask to see, from the seperate living quarters for the hosts, to the snacks available to the coffee and tea station to the excellent coffee cake to the great dining in the town. To the quite time by the fireplace, the best B & B. Steve and Beth

Staying at The Main Street Manor is like coming home except that you only have to enjoy its beauty and relax. Everything you might want or need is attended to with style. The ownners, Donna and Ken (and their dog Quincy) are most gracious hosts. "First Class" from the moment you arrive to the good-byes at the door. We have visited Main Street 3 times and it simply gets better each time. It's hard to wait until the next time to visit. The Manor is beautifully decorated in Victorian style, filled with antiques that give their home charm and shows love and class throughout. The living room invites you to taste the surprise treat of the day. But our fav is the front porch where we slip away over good conversation and a glass of wine. To us The Main Street is our "home away from home". Maryann and Joe

We stayed at the Main Street Manor on our way to another destination. We only wish that we could have stayed longer. Donna and Ken have done eveything possible to make this a wonderful bed and breakfast. It is a very warm and inviting place. It is exceptionally clean and has a very nice decor. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!!
We especially liked the fire place in the living room. It was so relaxing to sit there and listen to music and drink the complimentary wine and eat the delicious refreshments. It a great place for relaxation and romance. Donna and Ken are friendly and very helpful. They gave us an excellent restaurant suggestion.
We have stayed at many B&Bs and would definitely give this one an A+++

Flemington is a very cute town. We only wish we had had more time to explore. We will be back.
