We have stopped here several times.....today just for a doughnut. The doughnuts were great. We then went for a bikeride. After that we stopped here again for a drink. The raspberry smoothie was really good. Eating anything here makes the day better! There are wonderful choices for breakfast and lunch which we have sampled over the years. This is a good food choice in Frenchtown for young and old.

One of the top 10 days of the year. Perfect weather, bicycling along the canal. Decided to have an early meal along the River and canal. Seated outdoors on the rear patio was perfect. My wife had the quiche, hold the crabmeat. Enjoyed the meal. Surprised they only had 2 choices of salad dressing! I had open faced sourdough, ham melt with sweet potatoe fries. Very good. After our meal, the waiter showed us a card trick! He was very good.

This was our second stop at the Bridge Cafe and we were not disapointed. The food was very good and our guests enjoyed their meal. It is a BYOB and we saw one table who did bring their own wine. The service was good and friendly. The place is clean but rustic, which adds to the charm. Great view of the Delaware Rive and the bridge that woyuld take you to PA.

The title about says it all. We only had ice cream and drinks on a crowded weekend morning arriving after most people had breakfasted. Queued up for the eats and placed ourselves at tables inside rather than sitting outside overlooking the river. The signs are full of "homespun" philosophy, the young women who serve and man the cash register, are decorative as well as efficient, and the foot traffic keeps onlookers diverted. Lines for the bathroom can be a problem.
