The hotel is about 6-7 mins out of the Holland Tunnel and is much more reasonable than paying hundreds more for a hotel in Manhattan Factors to consider are the 32$ parking fee plus the Holland Tunnel Toll of 13$ to get into Manhattan. Beautiful view of the NY skyline, day or night and the Vu Restaurant is wonderful.

This hotel in all is a beautiful hotel with amazing views. We could see the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty from our room, as well as the empire state building and 9/11 memorial once we walked outside. Staff was efficient and friendly. Even housekeeping was attentive. The only complaint was that we were there on the weekend with a lot of weddings going on so there was a lot of outside noise and hallway noise. I would DEFINITELY go back to this hotel, just not stay on the 1st floor.

We stay at this hotel every time we visit the New York area. Our stay is always so pleasant, we would not consider staying anywhere else. We have recommended this hotel to friends and family on several occasions!

The Hyatt is still repairing flood damage but the interior remains intact. Good food, located near a PATH stop (which is closed weekends), great views of the NYC skyline and lots of walks in the vicinity. Rooms are large by NY standards and the place is reasonably priced. Certainly an acceptable place to stay if Manhattan is not required.

Room Tip: One can face either Manhattan or Jersey City. Either is certainly OK.

I stayed at this Hyatt during a business trip. Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable, and the staff was great. I really had no issues at all. The food at the restaurant is excellent and the view from the hotel is amazing. They have a nice lap pool and a well equipped fitness center. It is on the expensive side but probably average for that area.
