I have been going here since 1998 and the food has been consistent and good. I used to go more often than now but try to go whenever I feel for curry. As another posted noted, the naan is great! Would highly recommend.

This resturant has been there for several yrs now (atleast 4+ that I know of). Food tastes like authentic Pakistani cuisine. Prices are good. The best thing I like are the kababs and the kheer.

If you visit Jersey city and do not try their kabab and kheer, you did not make the most of your visit.

Due to it's history with the Pakistani community, this restaurant is usually always packed. The service is cafeteria style, where you order the food on display and the will call you up when it is heated up. The only 2 bad things about this place is it can get super super packed if you are trying to take out on the weekends (if you know what you want order in advance would be a plus) and the mitai (sweets) may not always be the freshest (since they order fresh deserts weekly and it may look good but the taste will tell you it is old).

It is a 5 min walk from the Grove Street PATH station. Nestled among the other indian restaurants.

Lunch buffets on the weekends are the most popular & most crowded times. That is followed by the peak hours during dinner when there are considerable number of folks & serving time is longer.

Samosas, kebabs, naans, nihari, and a host of great meat & chicken dishes.
Few dishes for the vegetarians too, but not too much variety.

Recommended if you are craving a typical south east asian non-veg meal
