What a nice change in menu and prep. This place, overlooking the tracks and the Delaware River in the distance was always unique but didn't have the culinary sparkle to make it more memorable. BUT WOW - they have changed. Not only do they have a new menu but the prep and presentation has dramatically improved. I picked from their Tapas menu and sat by the fire place on the lower floor next to the bar - very cozy and quiet. Try their Seafood Trio, very fresh crab, lobster and shrimp with delightful sauce. Also had the Midnight Moon Goat cheese as an appetizer. The food was definitely memorable though I didn't get anything from the main menu. With Norbert (bartender) attending to every request with a warm and friendly attitude my limited time there was extremely pleasant. They have a large dining area that runs parallel to the train tracks (was an old train station in it's day). There's a hotel (Lambertville Inn) just a 100 or so feet from the restaurant with it's own dining as well. It is a great place for a getaway without traveling a long distance if you're from the NJ/PA area. You get the antique and coffee shops in Lambertville (NJ Side) then take a scenic and short walk over to New Hope and you got the whole weekend booked! Chefs Chris (head chef) and Bryan (sou chef) have nailed it. Will be back for more.

We were two couples off on a day adventure to visit historic Lambertville and in search of good spot for lunch. At the restaurant, which is located near the Delaware River, the hostess suggested the wine cellar, as we wanted to be seated immediately and not wait for a table in the bigger dinner area, It was 30 degrees outside but in the wine cellar in the Lambertville Station, it was cozy and warm, especially by the fire place. The staff was very attentive, knew their menu and were very forthcoming on what was good to order. We had the salmon with maple glaze (excellent!) the seafood creole (perfectly spiced) and the burger (delicious) and the pea soup (generous with the ham). The bar is well stocked as well. There was a lovely tapas menu that we definitely will go back to try. After a great lunch, we walked around the town and followed the canal walk which is right by the Restaurant. Also plenty of free parking. A perfect afternoon adventure.

We went this year to Washington Crossing State Park this Christmas to watch the re-enactment of Washinton's Crossing of the Delaware on Christmas Day 1776, and afterwards went to Lambertville Station Restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner. Being Christmas, there really were few options for open restaurants, which impressed us even more. First, service was friendly and accommodating - from reservations to front desk reception to our wait staff. Our server, Melissa, was friendly, professional and efficient. Prices were extremely reasonable (I'd half-expected to be gouged - it was Christmas Day, afterall - but the menu was very reasonable, a la carte, with seasonal preparations (the eggnog gelato was excellent). I would have given the restaurant 5 stars but our entrees were average+ and plating/presentation was blah - tired. A really spectacular aspect was having a table with a view of the Delaware, which was fantastic as the sun set. All in all a very nice job.

Had a beautiful dinner here last night. The food was well prepared and presented and the flavor matched! The service was nice, friendly, and fast! Dinner was reasonably priced although the wines are a little overpriced. But overall we had a great meal in a very nice setting.

We have been to the restaurant several times and the food preparation has always been delicious. We have had many menu items and each were well prepared. The service has been superlative In the warmer weather it is delightful to sit outside. Even when it is chilly, the restaurant has outdoor heaters to make dining enjoyable,.It is the my first choice in New Jersey.
