What a nice change in menu and prep. This place, overlooking the tracks and the Delaware River in the distance was always unique but didn't have the culinary sparkle to make it more memorable. BUT WOW - they have changed. Not only do they have a new menu but the prep and presentation has dramatically improved. I picked from their Tapas menu and sat by the fire place on the lower floor next to the bar - very cozy and quiet. Try their Seafood Trio, very fresh crab, lobster and shrimp with delightful sauce. Also had the Midnight Moon Goat cheese as an appetizer. The food was definitely memorable though I didn't get anything from the main menu. With Norbert (bartender) attending to every request with a warm and friendly attitude my limited time there was extremely pleasant. They have a large dining area that runs parallel to the train tracks (was an old train station in it's day). There's a hotel (Lambertville Inn) just a 100 or so feet from the restaurant with it's own dining as well. It is a great place for a getaway without traveling a long distance if you're from the NJ/PA area. You get the antique and coffee shops in Lambertville (NJ Side) then take a scenic and short walk over to New Hope and you got the whole weekend booked! Chefs Chris (head chef) and Bryan (sou chef) have nailed it. Will be back for more.
