“Lambertville Station-Local Landmark”

An interesting historic train station with multi-levels, this is a nice place to visit, with a lower bar area with very nice bartenders and friendly patrons, to the various dining areas on several floors. I've always had very good meals here and the service has always been good. There are few restaurants with excellent waiters across the board, but I've never had a problem here. The only recent annoyance was listening to a table of patrons arguing about whether to tip a waiter based upon the value of a coupon they had. Very painful.

GREAT staff and service, if slightly over-obsequious. Great menu. Great ambiance. Very disappointing food and massively expensive. Will certainly not be returning.

The menu offered a most attractive-sounding elk steak with bits and pieces. It was served looking very pretty. There was nothing wrong with the ingredients or meat, but the combination and preparation was wrong to the point they made an elk steak taste bitter and unpleasant. Quite clearly the chef was incompetent, whatever qualifications held. I paid and left.

“Enchanted atmosphere ”

Great food, stuff, service and good choice of beers!
The place is fabulous- the restaurant is set in a former vintage train station and it is sourranded by a green path and bike lane along the stream ... I really recommend this place, especially on a sunny warm day!

“Consistently disappointing”
Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

I'm a local here in lambertville & I believe in supporting local business. But I have become fed up with constantly over cooked burgers ,stale crumbly bread & day old chips. This restaurant caters to the tourist & dumps there old leftovers on unsuspecting locals. Two thumbs way down.

“Suitable for Everyone”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

As a cyclist, I like to take inexperienced riders on the canal path for a first ride. It's flat, it's pretty and there's 70 miles of path to ride as long as you like. A great day out is to park at the hotel behind the restaurant, ride the path for a couple of hours, then have a nice lunch at the Lambertville Station Restaurant.

When I say it's suitable for everyone, I mean it! You can be dressed up, or in cycling clothes; couples, families with children or a group of friends; hungry or nibble tapas; taste wines or beers, and enjoy a creative menu that has choices for carnivores, vegans and even a gluten-free menu!

I've been going for years, and will continue for years to come.
