Enjoyed lunch but the real treat was their special dessert ice cream "bomb" with a homemade chocolate truffle center and coating. Fantastic! A really unique and attractive building.

We celebrated a birthday at Lambertville Station last night and I cannot stop talking about the experience! We went early and decided to sit inside by the window, but the tables out on the old train platform looked comfortable and nicely shaded. The flowers along the track (not in service) and the canal were fabulously in bloom and right out of a painting. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and they had some great specials for the evening. My husband had the Jambalaya which he said was the best he ever had and so generous he brought half home - a miracle for him. I had the mustard and maple glazed salmon and I cannot stop raving about the combination of flavors. We also splurged on the Seafood Trio as a starter - just amazing and worth the cost. Even the bread was outstanding along with the Caesar salad we shared. This was one of the most delicious meals I have ever eaten and in an atmosphere worthy of a movie set. Don't let the summer go by without giving Lambertville Station a try! After dinner you can walk along the canal, watch the boats in the Delaware River or stroll over the bridge into New Hope. Come early and get situated in their large parking lot.

We had been here before at the Canal Side Bar, which is awesome!! It is so nice to be able to be outside and enjoy the nice weather. Also, parking is free even if you are not staying at the hotel! On that visit we ordered a glass of wine and both had the french onion soup. The bartender was great!

The wine cellar was incredible - I had a wine flight with three samples and the cheddar sampler which came with complimentary bread and a honey and truffle oil dip. Next time we will eat down here.

The atmosphere is incredible, an old train station. The service was efficient and not rushed. We both ordered the filet and soup. I had shrimp and lobster bisque and he had French onion. Everything was great. They make their own bread too.

This was a very good experience. For some reason with all of the restuarant choices it can be difficult to actually choose a place to eat that is worthwhile. A little pricey but definitely worth it. We will be back!

On a beautiful day in June, sitting outside for lunch is what we wanted. The Canal Side part of Lambertville Station is just gorgeous. The herbs and roses were a lovely backdrop for out table, as well as the ducks and geese swimming in the canal. Our server, Megan, was efficient, friendly, and intuitive. We started with soup, and the cold gazpacho was flavorful with tomatoes, peppers, etc. I had a seafood crepe that was loaded with large pieces of shrimp, scallops, and lobster. Perfectly seasoned so the true flavors of the seafood came through. Dessert was peach sorbet, and my husband had pineapple rum gelato. It tasted like a piña colada! Perfect ending!
We enjoy this restaurant often, and this was a perfect spot for our outdoor lunch in June!

We visited on Memorial Day and our experience was eye opening. The place was busy all day, we had passed it a few times during our travels. We decided we would like to dine outside and approached the bar first. We were served our drinks and proceeded to the hostess stand to be told that we would need to wait at least a half hour because the kitchen was backed up and overwhelmed. A gentleman who was clearing tables mentioned to us that clearing tables was not in his job description there. We should have taken that cue and left then...hindsight. Having our drinks in hand, we leaned against the railing and waited. A lovely server approached us and invited us to sit at the empty table next to the hostess stand to enjoy our drinks, we did just that. After we were there about 20 minutes, the server offered us menus and we ordered. I ordered the mozzarella salad and my husband had the calamari. The salad arrived and the mozzarella was not fresh, it was clearly processed mozzarella that was sliced. The salad had raw kale and some sundried tomatoes, clearly not my expectation of a caprese salad. The calamari and the basket of rolls turned out to be our meal for the evening. I ordered the soft shell crab addition and my husband ordered a steak. We received our entrees, the soft shells had been deep fried so well done that when I cut into them, they crumbled and a pool of oil emerged. The steak was perched on a dried out lump of mashed potatoes that had been in a hotel pan, the shape of the corner was still evident. The breaded mushroom garnish was dehydrated from the breading, it must have been hanging out with the potatoes under the heat lamps. Our server reacted quickly without our asking in sending over the manager who asked if all was ok. I replied that the food was inedible, and showed him the issues. He was gracious and apologetic and took the entrees off of our bill. He also asked if we would like to try again with another selection, we declined. We overheard a few of the servers discussing how busy the day had been, and that the kitchen wasn't prepared for the onslaught of tourists visiting. Clearly the management should work on a few things here, their operation has some glaring issues going on.
