Good breakfast food on 2 occasions. Ate outside, sidewalk-style, first time, then inside at one of the varied styled tables - memories of my grandparents' tables and chairs. One of the Meg's (I'm guessing there are generations of them) was sprinkling salt on the floor to absorb any moisture, bringing to mind the lingering tentacles of Hurricane Sandy. You can't help wanting to come back to help out after what these folks - all our shore people - have been through.
We tried other nearby places and came back to Meg's.
And it's gotta be good - it's where the regulars go to enjoy the friendly, family feel. It'll be our "go to" for breakfast on future visits.
