When visiting the beach at Long Branch there are quite a few choices for midday dining. From the low scale to very upscale (something about going to a nicer restaurant wearing a bathing suit and a Jersey Shore T-shirt that just doesn't feel right). If you're in the mood for good food in a casual setting with alot of choices, check out the Turning point at the south end of the Long Branch shops area right across from the boardwalk. The place is big with lots of outside seating, has very good service and the food is well prepared and very tasty. I had the "pick 2" with half a chicken salad (that was huge) with lots of fruits and interesting greens and a half a tuna sandwich and it was delicious. At only a little more than what i would pay at a Panera Bread for their "pick 2" it was a great value in a nice sit down restaurant atmosphere. Definitely a menu with something for everyone! Don't miss it next time down at Long Branch.
