We were welcomed within 20 seconds of getting out of the car with an aperitif and evening mull over world events/local walks/city life /cultural differences etc etc..... Daniel and Dolores were made for hosting as they seem to genuinely enjoy the company of their guests.
The guest house is charming and typically Pyrenean, very clean and cosy.
I wish there'd been a door rather than a curtain between the en suite and bedroom but that's a minor detail!
One small word of warning: you'll need to be prepared to speak French as you will be sat at breakfast on a communal table, and Daniel and Dolores don't speak English. Linguistically this is excellent practice, but we live in France so are used to this kind of workout! For others, it could pose more of a problem. However, for those who like to immerse themselves in another culture, this could be a rich and authentic local experience.More
