“Welcoming on a Snowy Night”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 February 2014

We stopped here on a very snowy evening not quite knowing what to expect. The check-in lounge was clean and simple, but had us a little worried about the condition of the rooms. Our worries were for naught. We were in a one-bedroom suite with a kitchenette. This is not a lap-of-luxury experience -- the bathrooms seem to be a throwback to old Best Western's in the Midwest -- but it is clean and comfortable. And affordable, especially considering the space. We had a bit of a glitch checking in, and the front desk service proved to be fantastically responsive and flexible. Breakfast was rather sparse, but we certainly found enough to eat. We would stay here again.

Stayed here one night in a large two-room suite designed for longer-term stays. It included a fully equipped kitchen (glassware, utensils, a few pots and pans) with a large refrigerator, oven and stove-top, microwave, dishwasher, and even and in-sink garbage disposal. There is a dining area with a table and chairs for four, and a spacious work and living area with a big screen TV, couch, cocktail table, easy chair, large desk, bright desk lamp with outlets in the base for your tech equipment, and a very good office chair. When we checked-in five hours early, at no extra charge, the friendly staff could not be nicer and more attentive to our particular needs and questions. The room was in a quiet area, parking was in plain sight of our first-floor unit, the unit was obviously recently updated with fresh paint. There was no mess nor noise whatsoever from remodeling crews in the 24 hour period we stayed. As it was a cold day in December, with some snow on the ground, the unit was warmed to 72 degrees inside as our 10 AM check-in and arrival was anticipated. The free Wifi was strong and flawless, allowing us to work seamlessly using our laptops and smartphones. The king bed was absolutely one of the most comfortable beds we have come across in our frequent travels. There was a smaller TV in the bedroom area. The bathroom and dressing room were spotless, although the fixtures and tile were not updated (there was no need). The large walk-in closet was great. Breakfast was included in the lobby area and was typical of this chain - cold cereal, pre-packaged and warmed scrambled eggs and sausages, waffles, a selection of some fruit (oranges apples and bananas), some bagels and muffins, orange juice from concentrate and coffee. It was clean and well-stocked, but nothing out of the ordinary. Check-out was a quick and friendly process with no surprises.

Room Tip: Building 15 was a great location.

Recently stayed here on a recent road trip. The hotel itself is convenient to the NJ Turnpike, and is generally comfortable. The guest service here is appalling. The lobby area itself is undergoing renovation, and the rooms are in buildings scattered about the property. We arrived late in the evening on a Sunday, checking in around 11 PM. The lobby area was just a mess and the check in area was disheveled, to say the least. We were checked in and were told that there was no property map available, but our room was over that way...and that we would find it. Right. In the dark. After a long road trip. And in the rain. Needless to say I was certainly impressed with the South Jersey hospitality. And ultimately, we did find the room, which was generally comfortable and everything seemed to be in working order. Be aware that there are stairs and no elevators if you are above the first floor.....But wait, there's more.....in the morning, a complimentary breakfast bar was set up in the lobby area(which, as we all know is being renovated). The offerings were sparse. There were various breads available, but guess what.....no toaster. I of course inquired at the desk and was told that we don't have one. Really? can't even get the basics of a breakfast bar correct. The employee made no further effort to correct the issue, knowing full well that toasters are available elsewhere on the property. Put a little effort into it. You folks are in the hospitality business after all. I have stayed at other Hyatt properties across their brand spectrum and the level of guest service is generally very good. Not here. Don't bother, the value just isn't there

We were in Philadelphia for the Army Navy game and the rooms were going for the premium for the weekend. I looked around and found the Hyatt House and it was a great value and we got a 2 bedroom 3 bed room with a kitchen. The room was in good shape although the property is undergoing a remodel. The free breakfast and check-in area is undergoing changes at this time and is not the most pleasant to look at (main reason it was not 5 stars). The rooms were quiet and we had no issues with quick access to major highways and a lot of national and local restaurants in the area.

I stayed here while visiting some family and I have to say, I received more than I bargained for! The rooms are nice and big, much bigger than the average hotel room, and the staff was more than accommodating. There were people doing construction in the main building, but I couldn't hear it at all in the room. The employees were incredibly helpful and seemed very informed about the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose a high floor if you don't want anyone walking above you.

This was my first time in Mount Laurel and I selected this hotel because I was traveling on business with my husband and son so we needed lots of room. The room had two bedrooms and two bathroom with a kitchen and living room for a great price. Room was clean however some of the furniture was old and not in the best shape. My son loved the pool, they also offered free food each evening. One downside was no elevators so had to carry a lot of luggage up 2 flights of stairs.

Room Tip: Choose first floor to avoid carrying everything up stairs.

I am currently staying at this hotel . My experience till now is very good. Great location (near to my office and serene views of New Jersey ) makes the overall experience too good. Good rooms , very good household materials, and the classy ambience makes it a pleasant stay. Staff was helpful , room cleaning services were good, complementary morning breakfast and evening snacks added to good experience. Overall very good experience
