I stayed in a one bedroom suite. The entire place is very clean and inviting. They have a nice pool and hot tub. Hot buffet breakfast in the a.m. Small but very clean gym. Basketball/tenniscourts were great. Staff is very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. I used AAA to book . Very reasonable. Nice weekend getaway. Someone also had a birthday party for about 20 seven year olds. Very convenient and easy to host if you are interested. The kids had an hour in the pool at night and an hour first thing in the morning. Great time.

One week prior to my arrival, I had made a reservation at the Residence Inn Mt. Laurel at Bishop's Gate and guaranteed it with a Credit Card . On the day of my arrival, while enroute to the hotel in my car, I was called by the desk clerk and informed that they had a group of guests that were staying over longer and that my room would no longer be available. I asked to speak with the manager (Damien Caprescco) and was put on hold for approximately 5 minutes. When I finally spoke with the manager I was informed that there was nothing he could do because the guests staying over were "Platinum" Marriott Club members and I was a regular Marriott Club member. Unfortunately I would have to find lodging elsewhere. He offered to look for another room for me since I was in my car driving up there at the time. I never heard back from the hotel about them finding me another room and I ended up making another reservation. Unfortuantely this made me late for my scheduled business meeting. No compensation was offered . Needless to say I've stopped doing business with Marriott.

We stayed here for the long President's Day weekend. My husband, 2 children ages 7 & 5 and I stayed in a studio room. There was plenty of room for all of us. We liked having the full refrigerator and kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster. It also comes with dishes, utensils and other miscellaneous items. Since the hotel just opened up last year in July everything is new and clean. We chose this place because it's about a 20 minute drive to Philadelphia and there are a lot of stores like Target, Acme, very close to the hotel. Bobby Chez which is in the same shopping strip has excellent crabcakes. They're huge and full of crabmeat and not fillers. Better than Phillips crabcakes. We also got the seabass, stuffed shrimp and macararoni and cheese which also were very good.
The complimentary breakfast was better than your usual continental breakfast. Besides the regular danishes and cereals, they had make your own belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, and potatoes. Even though the hotel was booked we didn't have a problem with waiting for food or finding a table.
The kids loved the heated indoor pool. The towels they provided were too small, the size of a handtowel, and they were always running out. The pool itself could have been kept cleaner, especially with the amount of people over the busy weekend.
Even though for the most part we liked the hotel, we did have a few problems: the first night, even though the hotel is supposed to be smoke-free, someone was smoking in one of the rooms nearby and the smell was coming through the vents. I called to switch rooms but they were booked solid. Another problem we had was that the bathroom light went out, we called to get someone to replace it, and although they came right away, they said it was an electrical problem and couldn't fix it that night. We had to take showers in semi-darkness with the door open to let some light in from the vanity sink lights. And as things always come in threes, on the last night I was taking things out of the dresser which has the TV on it, when all of the drawers opened at the same time and the dresser with the TV toppled forward onto my foot. Luckily I was able to push it back and it happened to me and not one of my kids.
