We spent the night at this property last week. It was well located, adjacent to Newark NJ airport. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. However, there was long black hair all over the bathroom floor and bathtub, obviously not cleaned by Housekeeping. Since it was very late when we checked in, and we had a 3am wake up, we cleaned it ourselves. We did not mention it until checking out, and was told by the desk clerk that he would " tell the staff." There was no adjustment to the room rate, which we did not appreciate.

We chose this hotel based on location. We were heading to a Devils game on /13 and decided this location would work. The parking was free and it seemed pretty close to what we wanted. Well, it was, sort of. Off the side of Routes 1 & 9, near the airport but hard to find. The parking was great and free but that is about where the benefits of choosing it ended. There was nothing near by to grab a bite to eat so we were forced to choose the restaurant. Food was ok and the service was ok for the breakfast buffet. The downside was that for ok food and service at a buffet, there is gratuity automatically calculated in. I really would not have minded this if the food had been great, served to me and hot, but for a buffet, that was steep.

The room was clean and heat/air easy to adjust. Beds pretty comfortable. Internet access was lousy and slow in my room but in the lobby it was ok. I suppose if I were to need a place that was not real expensive, near Newark Airport, I would choose here to sleep overnight. Otherwise, I would choose something closer to ANYTHING, even if parking wasn't included. Cannot see us ever returning.

We stayed in this hotel for a night. I think it is a new hotel in the area. Everything is clean and updated. It is a busy airport hotel. wi-fi works well, parking is free.If we visit NYC again we will stay in this hotel.

Had a stopover in Newark for a night and the Holiday Inn was cheap but the service and quality was anything but. Nice big room, excellent friendly staff and an excellent quality restaurant. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place near the airport.

Clean hotel and very convenient for travelers through Newark Airport. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and a decent fitness centre. Complimentary shuttle to airport day and night. Friendly staff. Some noise from nearby highway, but windows are pretty soundproof. Restaurant at ground floor is okay, but service was kind of slow.

Got into my room and thought it smelled like cigarette smoke. As some with respiratory problems, this is an issue I fight with all the time. Sadly, while the hotel may have been renovated, the room smells very heavily of cigarette smoke. I asked for a different room, but sadly none were available. While the staff did offer to "refresh my room", you can't remove allergens with Fabreeze. It would just smell slightly better. Long story short, if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke. You may want to choose another option.

Room Tip: Avoid if you don't like the smell of cigarettes

Very clean and friendly. The desk clerk, I believe her name was Megan, was very professional and friendly and helpful. The sleep quality would have been awesome if it hadn't been for very noisy "neighbors." But that is not a relection on the hotel, just very rude guests. The restaurant was very pricey. We went down to eat but left. I wanted steak and it was 42.00. Not good on my budget.

Room Tip: Do not get a room close to the elevator, you will not sleep.
