The first thing I like about this place was the Free PARKING, pull in an parked inside with attendant great , next 3 minute walk to the Resturant .

We walk in and realized this was the real deal local people enjoying themselves family's , singles , mix crowd all enjoying this open family style seating , but enough to room not to feel boxed in. We check in our reservations and the MAITRE said Cash only . "Figure $65 per person plus drinks you will be good"

The waiter came to the table and and severed Octopus Salad, it was very good , we ordered the Sangria (three pitchers excellent ) and a Martini that was AWSOME . Next was the orders of lobster and paella, I had the green sauce , it was loaded with seafood and it was very good plenty of sauce in a big pot , the Lobsters was served hot and very good with good size . The service was good for a place this busy , the waiter paid attention to our needs and was very friendly , but this place is jumping with food in and people in and out , but I still felt like I been coming here all my life and everyone was friendly . I would definitely go back to this place with no hesitation.

This place reminded several of us of Europe. Very casual atmosphere and great seafood. Our waiter, Lima, was charming and efficient. We had stuffed scallops with grilled shrimp and stuffed halibut. The recommended red and White House wines at about $25/bottle were quite good. The rolls were to die for. You could fill up on them.

There is ample street parking and also a garage for which the restaurant will validate your ticket. Would definitely return the next time we're in Newark.

Business dinner, two of us. Started out with the prawns and the main course was the dry soup (kind of thick yellow bouillabase with soaked portuguese bread and different kinds of shellfish), ridiculously good. Prices are, frankly, too low for the quality of the food. This place continues to be a gem.

Fresh food always, too salty for my liking but I'm sure this can be tweaked by speaking to the chef.
