I booked 10 nights online but left after the first night. The hotel, located in an industrial area with poor links to New York, was dirty and poorly maintained. The room had a broken door lock, greasy hand prints over the bed headboard and a 2" straw and white powder on the laminated page in the info folder. The NYC shuttle only operates for a few hours in the morning (7.45-11.30) and again in the evening (8pm-10pm) and the cost is $7 per trip with a surcharge for luggage. This is not advertised in their info. Breakfast is help-yourself cereals, breads and bagels. I booked this hotel because it was cheaper and I thought I would be able to commute to the NY attractions. My advice is to pay extra for a Manhattan hotel where the public transportation is inexpensive and excellent with quick links to the major airports and not-to-be-missed attractions. New York is a 24 hour city and you don't need to catch 10pm shuttles. Alternatively, look for hotels near to the NY subway system - Brooklyn or Queens perhaps.
