Our experience is really hard to describe. It didn't seem that these people ever ran a restaurant or cooked basic pasta meals before that evening and in fact were discovering how to cook the entrees on the menu by looking them up on the internet as people ordered them. It took forever to get served (there were only four groups in the place ranging from 3-7 people).
The portions were skimpy and generally flavorless - which in retrospect might have been a good thing. The only reason we stayed was due to the fact that it was late and we hoped that maybe, just maybe the food was better than the venue (empty soda fridge, empty dessert display, lack of decent lighting, sticky booths, mirrors were dirty etc). No such luck!
We went to Hobby Horse for ice cream to help us recoup the evening.
Sergei, our younger waiter, was nice enough but he certainly didn't have much to work with. They did have an "all you can stomach" spaghetti dinner deal which at least one family in the place seemed to enjoy. (I don't think they got out much)
