We have been staying at the Northwood for about 10 yrs. The innkeepers have become great friends. But the rooms are lovely & the breakfast room is beautiful with all the sunshine & lovely orchids on the tables. The melons served everyday are a great way to start the day. Bicycles & beach tags are great amenities. We love sitting on the porch & reading in a rocking chair. Before we leave each year, we make our reservations for the next year to be sure we get the room & week we want. We can't say enough of the wonderful experience it is to stay at the Northwood

Just spent a long weekend at the inn. The owners were so kind and helpful. The bike fleet came in handy as did the recommendations for nearby restaurants. Weekend breakfast was yummy. Puppy is adorable. Great B&B in clean and family friendly Ocean City, NJ!

Our plans to New Jersey involved a trip to the Borgata Atlantic City to see a concert. Instead of staying in AC, we opted to stay at a B and B in Ocean City. How lucky we were to have chosen The Northwood Inn. There was so much serenity to be found there, whether it be on the rooftop deck, the rocking chairs on the front porch, or the side patio. The room was charming and immaculate. Breakfast was delicious and served in a quaint little sunroom. Marj and John could not have been more gracious and interesting. Another perk was that after we checked out, we could still use the house as they had an outside shower and a powder room inside. FYI the beach is a quieter section of Ocean City. After time at the beach, we brought back some sandwiches and sat on the patio porch among all the plants before heading home. Beautiful and peaceful. Thank you Marj and John.

This was the second year I stayed at the Northwood... The room was immaculate, breakfasts outstanding and overall a place that feels more like home. We love the short walk to everything... Bikes, beach tags and the option of a hot shower on check out day if you want to spend the day in OC . There is no other place to stay in my opinion...

This historic Victorian inn is a must for your list of places to stay. The inn keepers - John and Marj - are attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable, as well as active in the community. They generously upgraded our room to the best suite as we were there during a quiet week - prior to the big jersey shore opening of Memorial Day weekend. Jacuzzi, lovely wicker furniture, antiques and all the ambiance that goes made our stay enjoyable and memorable. We made sure we had our coffee and dessert on the rooftop for the sunsets. Couldn't have been nicer. Charming all around. They have a fleet of bicycles that will get you around the boardwalk and town. The boardwalk is over two miles long with ample shops, miniature golf and eateries; and downtown has quite of few shops and restaurants as well.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful.
