Great hotel, excellent and friendly service. Slightly outdated look, and a rackety old AC unit in my room, but otherwise a very comfortable stay indeed. I stayed three nights for a conference in Asbury Park, so the location was very convenient. Ocean Grove is a very quaint little town, with pastel coloured clapperboard houses and late night ice cream parlours, and a long beach front which was remarkably un-damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Asbury Park, just across the water, is a more lively place especially on weekend evenings.

My husband and I got married in Ocean Grove 6 years ago and all of our guests stayed at the Ocean Plaza and loved it! We have been coming back for weekends ever since.
We stayed in the Stokes suite recently and had a wonderful time.Beautiful views of the Ocean. In the few months since our last visit they have been busy updating the Inn and it is better than ever!
The staff at the Inn is so attentive and makes sure you have everything you need. This is our favorite place to go when we want a relaxing vacation by the Sea!

Room Tip: The Stokes suite has a lovely balcony with views of the ocean!

The inn was lovely, the staff couldn't be more accommodating. The room was very nice but had no individual temperature controls. Very Victorian town with more Victorian style architecture per square mile than any other town in the country. We thoroughly enjoyed just walking the streets and viewing the properties. Quaint little town with many small shops on main st. A few restaurants as well. The Inn offered a typical continental breakfast daily. We went out to breakfast one day at Yvonnes which was very good. Dinner one night at Moonstruck in Asbury Park within walking distance. Pretty good food, good service tho a little rushed. We also ate dinner one night at Sea Grass and enjoyed their seafood selection.

Room Tip: Ask the staff anything they were very helpful. We went through Travel Zoo so had what we thought wer...

The inn is lovely and has homey touches such as a bowl of candy in the "lobby" area and free snacks elsewhere. We stayed in the Inskip Suite, which had wonderful ocean views and was very quaint. It was also super clean. The gentleman who checked us in etc. was extremely helpful and nice. From the inn it is a short walk to the beach and to the center of town where there are wonderful little shops and restaurants. The inn is situated amongst other lovely victorian residences. Very pretty.

We started coming as a group of 8 in 2007 and just completed our 7th extended weekend
with 19 ladies. Many of us count this as a highlight in our year's activities and look forward to
it, always disappointed when it comes to an end. The Innkeeper and staff are always so
helpful and positive. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have the feel of another era.
The morning breakfast is so plentiful that many of us don't eat again until dinner. We are
anxiously preparing for our 2014 weekend and very appreciative that we are able to welcome
the Spring & Summer season each year by staying at this beautiful location.

Rooms are very small. Hard to sometimes walk around the furniture. If you are looking for the ambiance of a typical bed and breakfast this is not it. Breakfast is served on an unheated porch. It is typical continental breakfast food. nothing hot but coffee or tea. The living room is small with uncomfortable furniture and not meant to sit and enjoy the room. It is very convenient to the ocean and the Ocean Grove main street. Ocean Grove is a quaint little town and if you are not spending time in the hotel the hotel is OK. Staff was courteous and helpful but could not overcome the flaws For me it is not what I expect in a bed and breakfast and I will not be returning.

Room Tip: Do not get a room in the front on the second floor. These have windows to the front porch where brea...

The Innkeeper and staff could not be more welcoming or accomodating. The cozy rooms with private bath are tastefully appointed with in-room refrigertor and toiletries. Tis a delightful get away to enjoy the ocean vista and fine dining opportunities in the Asbury Park area. Only a short drive from anywhere in the tri-state area.. Great holiday for revitalization. Perfect!!
