I will highly recommode this hotel to all family, lesisure, couple and group. Very nice hotel lobby with lots of space for gathering. Ruth Chris restaurant has excellent food and service is the best. Hotel is going to renovate step by step from now till next year but all staff and quality are still keeping on the highest level. Good location and convenient to NJ, Manhattan, Woodbury outlet and lots of good restaurant closed to hotel as well.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our lobby is now complete, and we will be doing our room renovation one section at a time so as to ensure a quality guest experience. Once the corridors are done next week, no one will even know we are working. Hope you come back soon to experience the rest of our renovated hotel.

This was one of the worst Hilton's I have ever experienced. The setting for the hotel is very nice. The entrance foyer is quite impressive as was Ruth Chris, but then everything else just fell apart. I asked the woman at the front desk for a map of the area and was told the hotel did not have any. She attempted to print one for me from the internet but it was useless endeavour. When I stepped into the elevator one could immediately tell that cleanliness was not a strong point for this hotel. Once on our floor (3rd) I noticed the carpets in the halls were visibly soiled. My room was a mess. Hair in the basin, mould in the shower stall, the toilet had brown mould (I think) in it, the carpet were soiled with what appeared to have been a spilled beverage. There was no TV guide of any type in the room. The furniture looked old and abused (scratches and cuts). The walls are paper thin so that you can hear what is being said from those in the next room and, across the hall. This hotel is spent. It needs to be upgraded. This is not a 4 star hotel, more like a 2 star. Very, very disappointing.

We stayed here, like many families, for a soccer tournament. Unfortunately, we had early morning games and got very little sleep because of the noise in the hallways from children constantly running and screaming. Although mostly the fault of very inconsiderate parents, the hotel did nothing to stop it! This activity also continued during the day, where children were running through the lobby and in the gym and pool area.

I’m so sorry you experienced some noise issues during your stay. As you noted other inconsiderate parents from the same soccer tourney are really to blame. While,we work diligently with our staff to ensure each of our guests is respectful of others, while still enjoying their stay and special event we need the assistance of the parents to discipline their children. We regret you experienced a noise level that made your stay unpleasant, but our managers and security were on the floors all night returning kids to their rooms.

Great hotel and great location. During my visit however the hotel was under renovation. I wasn't aware of this until check in. A heads up would have been nice. Great hotel and great location. Beautiful accommodations, terrific customer service, centrally located, and the staff is first rate. Would definitely use it again. The front desk staff is very helpful and the bartenders are awesome! A bit cold in the lobby, though.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times before, because it is well located to Morristown, the train station into Manhattan, the adjacent Ruth Christ steakhouse and is very quiet at night.

It is typical example of a bad Hilton - and until this trip I was wondering when it would finally get a much needed renovation, with much of the interior dating from what appears to be the mid 1990,s at best.

On this trip I was pleasantly surprised that they have started a renovation- the lobby area, gym, corridors are all being rebuilt, giving this hotel a nice impression as you walk in. But that is where is ends. I hope they stretch to fixing the rooms in the next year - the bathrooms are now tired and the rooms and A/C also a little wheezy - only the Hilton furnishings give it a more modern touch.

The lights make a dark room slightly brighter, but they are still way to dim. The A/C is noisy and the bathrooms look like they came from a 2 star horror flick.

Make sure you get a discounted rate (heavily) and enjoy a steak from the steakhouse (expensive but worth every penny) and then you will enjoy your stay in so far as you are not hopeful of a specifically modern Hilton. The location and the steakhouse is the deciding factor for me...(oh and the fact its near my office....!)

Thanks for your feedback. We are very excited about the completion of the lobby renovation, and the addition of our new iconic lobby bar and dining, apotheca. Our renovation is continuing in our banquet space, but our guests won;t even see that going on as it is nowhere near our guest tower. Good news is, our guest tower is also starting renovation, we are working very "stealthy" in small sections during the day when most of our guests are at their offices. I am sure you will be delighted. Thanks for your positive comments about the Ruth's Chris steakhouse as well.

We stayed as part of a bus tour, when we arrived half of he rooms weren't ready there was no water in our room, and they didn't even have our keys ready, the attitude of the reception staff was disgraceful they just didn't care at all. The only restaurant is a steak house, very nice if you can afford $88 for a steak not good if you are a vegetarian as is my daughter, so we had to make do with bar snacks which took an age to order and an age to arrive. When they did finally arrive it was soggy frozen pizza slices, We couldn't go out anywhere as the hotel is in a remote place with nothing around, not what we expected for the hilton as it usually has such a good reputation I would never stay there again.
