“Good way to spend a day”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

Water was very rough when I went. The beach is not very level and can get very crowded. Not terrible but not my favorite beach.

Reviewed 23 August 2014

what a bunch of money hungry grubbing ripoffs. 25.00 in the lots there to park your car . All the arcades do not give out toys Hey Jenkis shove your money grubing arcades !. they take your money you keep pumping money in there and nothing!!! Food vendors are just as money hungry grumbing losers.Seaside height gives out toys in their arcades . To park the car it is less than 1/2 the money to go on the beach so much less. Will never ever step foot in Point pleasant again.!!!

“Best Boardwalk in Jersey”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

We have been going to Pt. Pleasant Beach for years and love it. The beach is long and wide with beautiful white sand. You can rent chairs and umbrellas so you don't have to bring your own. There are clean (but hot!) bathroom and changing facilities at the northern end of the beach, and clean bathrooms in the middle of the boardwalk at Jenkinson's, and again behind the police station.. You can walk the boardwalk on the quieter northern end and watch the boats go in and out of the inlet with Manasquan on the other side and then walk down to the southern end. In between there are restaurants, pizza shops, candy and ice cream shops, arcades, mini golf, and wheels to play. The kiddie rides are great for the little ones and there are some rides for older kids as well. If you're looking for real thrill rides, you won't find them here. However, Pt. Pleasant has always been a great family place - clean, not too big, fun, and friendly for kids of all ages.

“Get Off the Boardwalk and Get into TOWN!”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

In reading a review about the crowds, you are right. This year has been busier then usual. Normally this little town and beach is a great place for family. Thursdays are Fireworks night and they are worth battling the crowd. But while in Point, walk into town down Arnold Avenue. Great shops, restaurants, friendly atmosphere. Many shops are fair trade and give back to the artist/ country of origin. Great antique shops.

“A great beach”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

I've been coming here for many years with friends and family. It is always very clean and there are plenty of lifeguards. It is very crowded on summer weekends.
